Giving 'We Go High' a listen now since you've linked it, it's actually nicer than I thought it might be! The piano riff is a really nice touch. Glad you enjoyed it. There are a few tracks on his album where the instruments are the most notable thing about the song |

Albums Chart
4. Watsky - Complaint This is certainly the lowest a Watsky album has finished here but the problem is it's just so short. It's over before it really begins which makes it feel a bit lightweight compared to the 2 albums I've ranked above it in this section. 3. Tyler, The Creator - Igor I've always listened to Tyler's albums when they've been released and thought it was decent but I would never go back to them again. This is the album I've been waiting for from him. This album is a masterpiece, not a second is wasted and the production is constantly changing and keeping you interested. I don't think there'll be a time that I'm bored of this one. 2. Dreamville - Revenge Of The Dreamers III J. Cole finished 2nd in my albums countdown last year and now his label nabs the runners-up spot again. This album introduced me to some artists that I've really got into (EarthGang, J.I.D) and even had time for an un-credited Kendrick feature. This album is long but doesn't feel that way at all (like Endgame). This is easily the best rap had to offer this year. |

Albums Chart
1. Ariana Grande - Thank U, Next Any year Ariana releases an album, she's going to get the #1 here and this might be the strongest album she's ever released. It says it all that my least favourite song on the album (Bloodline) is still a 10/10 track and made the top 10 of my charts. I've probably listened to this more than every other album put together this year and I'm still not even close to getting bored of it. I can't see Ariana releasing again soon, so will get the top spot next year? |

231 songs made my weekly top 20 charts this year, up from 206 in 2018.
Let's quickly run through the ones which wont make my top one hundred (and twenty)! First off, there was 28 pre-2019 songs that hung over/re-entered over the year that didn't do enough to finish top 120. Ariana Grande - Breathin Ariana Grande - R.E.M Ariana Grande - Thank U, Next Blackpink - Ddu-Du Ddu-Du CNCO & Little Mix - Reggaetón Lento Iggy Azalea ft Tyga - Kream Jennie - Solo Juice Wrld - Lucid Dreams Kodak Black ft Travis Scott & Offset - Zeze Lil Wayne ft Kendrick Lamar - Mona Lisa Little Mix - Love A Girl Right Little Mix ft Machine Gun Kelly - No More Sad Songs Little Mix - Notice Little Mix - Salute Little Mix ft Sharaya J - Strip Little Mix - Touch Little Mix ft Nicki Minaj - Woman Like Me Sheck Wes - Mo Bamba Skepta - Pure Water Taylor Swift - I Did Something Bad The Prodigy - Firestarter Watsky - All Like Whatever Watsky ft Kate Nash - Hey, Asshole Watsky - Mean Ass Drunk Watsky ft Dia Frampton - Sarajevo Watsky - Sloppy Seconds Watsky - Welcome To The Family Watsky - Whoa Whoa Whoa This post has been edited by LewisGT: 31st December 2019, 08:50 PM |

Let's start with the songs that have just missed out on finishing in the top 100.
120. Lil Nas X - Old Town Road My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 7-11-15-8-9 (5 weeks) Official Peak: 01 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =82 Lyric: My life is a movie, Bull ridin' and boobies Lil Nas X's Chart History: 2019 07 Old Town Road Despite a decent showing in the points chart, Old Town Road does not make my top 100. I quite liked this when it was starting to blow up but it got far too overplayed when the remix came out which hindered it's position here. 119. Taylor Swift - Paper Rings My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 11-8-12 (3 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 120 Lyric: I hate accidents except when we went from friends to this Taylor Swift's Chart History: 2013 04 22 2013 19 I Knew You We're Trouble 2014 01 Shake It Off 2014 01 Blank Space 2015 01 Bad Blood (ft Kendrick Lamar) 2015 05 Wildest Dreams 2017 01 Look What You Made Me Do 2017 14 Ready For It 2017 13 I Did Something Bad 2017 09 Gorgeous 2017 18 Dress 2018 15 Delicate 2019 03 Me (ft Panic! At The Disco) 2019 06 You Need To Calm Down 2019 19 The Archer 2019 05 Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince 2019 08 Paper Rings 2019 12 I Forgot That You Existed 2019 16 Lover For the 2nd year in a row Taylor Swift takes the coveted 119 spot with an album track ('I Did Something Bad' last year). This is something really different from Taylor, a little bit rockier. It sounds fairly reminiscent of something Avril Lavigne would have recorded back in the day. 118. Ariana Grande - Needy My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 7-11-14 (3 weeks) Official Peak: 08 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =121 Lyric: Passionate, but I don't give no f***s Ariana Grande's Chart History: 2014 06 The Way (ft Mac Miller) 2014 01 Problem (ft Iggy Azalea) 2014 03 Break Free (ft Zedd) 2014 08 Break Your Heart Right Back (ft Childish Gambino) 2014 03 Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart 2014 03 Best Mistake (ft Big Sean) 2014 14 Why Try 2014 01 Bang Bang (Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj) 2014 04 Love Me Harder (ft The Weeknd) 2014 15 Be My Baby (ft Cashmere Cat) 2014 17 You Don't Know Me 2014 18 Only 1 2014 01 One Last Time 2014 15 Hands On Me (ft A$AP Ferg) 2014 18 My Everything 2014 04 Santa Tell Me 2015 11 Adore (Cashmere Cat ft Ariana Grande) 2015 01 Focus 2016 01 Dangerous Woman 2016 01 Be Alright 2016 01 Let Me Love You (ft Lil Wayne) 2016 01 Into You 2016 02 Bad Decisions 2016 03 Greedy 2016 02 Side To Side (ft Nicki Minaj) 2016 06 Sometimes 2016 09 Everyday (ft Future) 2016 10 Leave Me Lonely (ft Macy Gray) 2016 11 I Don't Care 2016 12 Touch It 2016 13 Thinking Bout You 2016 14 Moonlight 2016 12 Knew Better / Forever Boy 2017 15 Heatstroke (Calvin Harris ft Young Thug, Pharrell Williams & Ariana Grande) 2017 07 Quit (Cashmere Cat ft Ariana Grande) 2018 01 No Tears Left To Cry 2018 05 Bed (Nicki Minaj ft Ariana Grande) 2018 01 The Light Is Coming (ft Nicki Minaj) 2018 01 God Is A Woman 2018 01 Breathin 2018 02 Successful 2018 02 Everytime 2018 05 Sweetener 2018 06 Blazed (ft Pharrell Williams) 2018 08 Goodnight n Go 2018 08 Better Off 2018 12 Borderline (ft Missy Elliott) 2018 10 Get Well Soon 2018 14 Pete Davidson 2018 15 Raindrops (An Angel Cried) 2018 01 Thank U, Next 2018 01 Imagine 2019 01 7 Rings 2019 01 Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored 2019 02 Ghostin 2019 03 Bad Idea 2019 03 NASA 2019 06 Make Up 2019 07 Needy 2019 08 Fake Smile 2019 09 In My Head 2019 10 Bloodline 2019 01 Monopoly (Ariana Grande & Victoria Monét) 2019 01 Boyfriend (Ariana Grande & Social House) 2019 01 Don't Call Me Angel (Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus & Lana Del Rey) 2019 03 How I Look On You 2019 04 Got Her Own (Ariana Grande & Victoria Monét) 2019 11 Bad To You (Ariana Grande, Normani & Nicki Minaj) 2019 19 Nobody (Ariana Grande & Chaka Khan) The first of 12 appearances from Ariana in this countdown is the album track 'Needy'. This of course was the most successful album track becoming one of the 3 songs to reach the official charts on album release week. However, I would only rank it towards the middle of the album. It was one that sounded great live though. 117. Skepta - Bullet From A Gun My Peak: 10 Chart Run: 17-10-18-13-14 (5 weeks) Official Peak: 32 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =118 Lyric: I was a young boy, mum told me what my name really means and the power just kicked in Skepta's Chart History 2014 02 That's Not Me (ft JME) 2015 08 Don't @ Me (JME ft Skepta, Frisco & Shorty) 2015 02 Shutdown 2015 17 Rescue Me 2016 03 Man 2016 06 Numbers (ft Pharrell Williams) 2016 04 Ladies Hit Squad (ft D Double E & A$AP Nast) 2017 04 I Win (Lethal Bizzle ft Skepta) 2017 13 Ding-A-Ling (Stefflon Don & Skepta) 2018 02 Pure Water 2018 03 Praise The Lord (Da Shine) (A$AP Rocky ft Skepta) 2019 06 Greaze Mode (ft Nafe Smallz) 2019 10 Bullet From A Gun 2019 01 Love Me Not (ft Cheb Rabi & B Live) 2019 08 What Do You Mean (ft J Hus) 2019 10 Gangsta (ft Shorty, Frisco, Jammer & JME) 2019 08 Kiss And Tell (AJ Tracey & Skepta) This was released at the same time as another song still to come as Skepta's comeback and I found myself going back to this one the least. However, after the album came out and a pretty cool video was released for this, I'm starting to enjoy this one a lot more. I love the production on this one especially. 116. Tion Wayne & Jay1 - 2 On 2 My Peak: 04 Chart Run: 15-4 (2 weeks) Official Peak: 53 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =142 Lyric: I'm winning, no debating, you're hating, you're looking iffy Tion Wayne's Chart History 2019 03 Options (NSG ft Tion Wayne) 2019 05 Keisha & Becky (Russ & Tion Wayne) 2019 04 2 On 2 (Tion Wayne & Jay1) Jay1's Chart History 2019 03 Your Mrs 2019 03 Mocking It 2019 04 2 On 2 (Tion Wayne & Jay1) It looks like I got bored of this one really quickly but it actually dropped out the week after I saw Little Mix & Becky G's new album was released where 12 songs entered/re-entered my chart. On a normal week it probably would have dropped to about 10 and spent a couple more weeks in my chart. Both artists have much better to come but it's pretty catchy in a cheap way. 115. Sabrina Carpenter - In My Bed
My Peak: 05 Chart Run: 19-(x5)-12-5-9-19 (5 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =105 Lyric: I'm still in my bed about it Sabrina Carpenter's Chart History: 2019 08 Sue Me 2019 05 In My Bed 2019 06 Looking At Me 2019 14 Take You Back The chorus for this is great but I never fully connected with the verses. Both acts of Singular are full of fun little bops like this so I'm so happy I discovered her music this year. She has 2 more to come in this countdown. 114. Skepta ft J Hus - What Do You Mean My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 8-9-18 (3 weeks) Official Peak: 14 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =129 Lyric: She wanna eat man like Idi Amin Skepta's Chart History: 2014 02 That's Not Me (ft JME) 2015 08 Don't @ Me (JME ft Skepta, Frisco & Shorty) 2015 02 Shutdown 2015 17 Rescue Me 2016 03 Man 2016 06 Numbers (ft Pharrell Williams) 2016 04 Ladies Hit Squad (ft D Double E & A$AP Nast) 2017 04 I Win (Lethal Bizzle ft Skepta) 2017 13 Ding-A-Ling (Stefflon Don & Skepta) 2018 02 Pure Water 2018 03 Praise The Lord (Da Shine) (A$AP Rocky ft Skepta) 2019 06 Greaze Mode (ft Nafe Smallz) 2019 10 Bullet From A Gun 2019 01 Love Me Not (ft Cheb Rabi & B Live) 2019 08 What Do You Mean (ft J Hus) 2019 10 Gangsta (ft Shorty, Frisco, Jammer & JME) 2019 08 Kiss And Tell (AJ Tracey & Skepta) J Hus's Chart History: 2017 04 Bad Boys (Stormzy ft Ghetts & J Hus) 2017 05 Did You See 2018 03 Bouff Daddy 2019 01 Disaster (Dave ft J Hus) 2019 08 What Do You Mean (Skepta ft J Hus) 2019 01 Must Be 2019 was the year that I properly got into J Hus. Really helped by his song-stealing features on Dave (Disaster) & Skepta's albums. This is a really fun track and, alongside Greaze Mode, got Skepta his 2nd and 3rd top 20 hits in the UK chart after Rescue Me in 2010. This should have done better in my chart. 113. AJ Tracey & Skepta - Kiss And Tell My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 8-14-19 (3 weeks) Official Peak: 31 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =146 Lyric: She know she can look good in them high heels and she look good in some Air Max AJ Tracey's Chart History: 2018 04 Butterflies (AJ Tracey & Not3s) 2018 05 Lo(v/s)er 2019 02 Psych Out 2019 13 Jackpot 2019 17 Double C's 2019 18 Country Star 2019 04 Fashion Week (Steel Banglez ft AJ Tracey & MoStack) 2019 11 Ladbroke Grove 2019 04 Thiago Silva (Dave & AJ Tracey) 2019 02 Elastic 2019 03 Cat Pack 2019 03 Floss (ft MoStack & Not3s) 2019 07 Halloween (ft Young Adz) 2019 12 Zelda (ft SahBabii & Safe) 2019 08 Kiss And Tell (AJ Tracey & Skepta) Skepta's Chart History: 2014 02 That's Not Me (ft JME) 2015 08 Don't @ Me (JME ft Skepta, Frisco & Shorty) 2015 02 Shutdown 2015 17 Rescue Me 2016 03 Man 2016 06 Numbers (ft Pharrell Williams) 2016 04 Ladies Hit Squad (ft D Double E & A$AP Nast) 2017 04 I Win (Lethal Bizzle ft Skepta) 2017 13 Ding-A-Ling (Stefflon Don & Skepta) 2018 02 Pure Water 2018 03 Praise The Lord (Da Shine) (A$AP Rocky ft Skepta) 2019 06 Greaze Mode (ft Nafe Smallz) 2019 10 Bullet From A Gun 2019 01 Love Me Not (ft Cheb Rabi & B Live) 2019 08 What Do You Mean (ft J Hus) 2019 10 Gangsta (ft Shorty, Frisco, Jammer & JME) 2019 08 Kiss And Tell (AJ Tracey & Skepta) Skepta is becoming the king of the 101-120 section here AJ has stated on multiple times that Skepta is his all-time favourite artist so the collab between the two was highly anticipated. This is a decent tune but I can't help but think a collab between the two could have been so much more. 112. Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 9-8-17-10-13-20 (6 weeks) Official Peak: 02 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =91 Lyric: Aren't you the guy who tried to hurt me with the word goodbye? Dua Lipa's Chart History 2016 11 Hotter Than Hell 2016 02 Blow Your Mind (Mwah) 2017 08 Be The One 2017 04 No Lie (Sean Paul ft Dua Lipa) 2017 01 New Rules 2018 03 IDGAF 2018 05 One Kiss (Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa) 2018 12 Electricity (Silk City & Dua Lipa) 2018 04 Kiss And Make Up (Dua Lipa & Blackpink) 2019 12 Swan Song 2019 08 Don't Start Now I haven't been able to get into this one as much as I was hoping. Hopefully it will grow on me when her album gets released. At least it's 100x better than Swan Song. 111. AJ Tracey ft Young Adz - Halloween My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 8-7-17 (3 weeks) Official Peak: 100 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =121 Lyric: Every time I make a new song I give you captions AJ Tracey's Chart History 2018 04 Butterflies (AJ Tracey & Not3s) 2018 05 Lo(v/s)er 2019 02 Psych Out 2019 13 Jackpot 2019 17 Double C's 2019 18 Country Star 2019 04 Fashion Week (Steel Banglez ft AJ Tracey & MoStack) 2019 11 Ladbroke Grove 2019 04 Thiago Silva (Dave & AJ Tracey) 2019 02 Elastic 2019 03 Cat Pack 2019 03 Floss (ft MoStack & Not3s) 2019 07 Halloween (ft Young Adz) 2019 12 Zelda (ft SahBabii & Safe) 2019 08 Kiss And Tell (AJ Tracey & Skepta) Young Adz's Chart History 2019 07 Halloween (ft Young Adz) This was from the deluxe edition of AJ's debut album and featured D-Block Europe's Young Adz. Say what you like about D-Block but I always think Adz gives a good hook and that's exactly what he does here. This suffered a bit from too much AJ at the time with the other new deluxe tracks being released at the same time as the Skepta collab. |

110. J. Cole, Lute & DaBaby - Under The Sun
My Peak: 05 Chart Run: 18-5-9-17 (4 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 116 Lyric: I hit her from the back from like 10 to 2 J. Cole's Chart History: 2015 03 Apparently 2015 05 Wet Dreamz 2016 19 4 Your Eyez Only 2017 04 Deja Vu 2017 04 Neighbors 2018 02 1985 (Intro To "The Fall Off") 2018 03 KOD 2018 19 Photograph 2018 12 ATM 2018 07 Kevin's Heart 2018 14 Album Of The Year (Freestyle) 2018 02 A Lot (21 Savage ft J. Cole) 2019 03 Middle Child 2019 10 The London (Young Thug ft J. Cole & Travis Scott) 2019 02 Sacrifices (Earthgang, Smino, Saba & J. Cole) 2019 02 1993 (Buddy, Smino, Cozz, Earthgang, J.I.D & J. Cole) 2019 05 Under The Sun (J. Cole, Lute & DaBaby) 2019 05 Down Bad (J.I.D, Bas, J. Cole, Earthgang & Young Nudy) Lute's Chart History: 2019 04 Sleep Deprived (Lute, Mez, Omen & DaVionne) 2019 05 Under The Sun (J. Cole, Lute & DaBaby) DaBaby's Chart History: 2019 02 Hot Shower (Chance The Rapper ft MadeinTYO & DaBaby) 2019 05 Under The Sun (J. Cole, Lute & DaBaby) 2019 16 My Oh My (Camila Cabello ft DaBaby) The first Dreamville song enters at 110. This is the one with the unfeatured Kendrick feature on the chorus. DaBaby steals this track with a really fun verse. Once again the production is fire here, just like the rest of the album. 109. Flipp Dinero - Leave Me Alone My Peak: 10 Chart Run: 12-10-11-(x3)-14-19 (5 weeks) Official Peak: 30 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =110 Lyric: Drunk as f**k bitch, you dumb as f**k Flipp Dinero's Chart History: 2019 10 Leave Me Alone This song is all about the hook. The verses are completely forgettable but I can't stop singing 'Leave Me Aloooone' after I've listened to this. 108. Dua Lipa & Blackpink - Kiss And Make Up My Peak: 06 (in 2019) Chart Run: 4-11-12-18-(x3)-20-(x22)-6-6-12 (3 weeks in 2019) Official Peak: 36 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =110 Lyric: Tired of hearing sorry Dua Lipa's Chart History: 2016 11 Hotter Than Hell 2016 02 Blow Your Mind (Mwah) 2017 08 Be The One 2017 04 No Lie (Sean Paul ft Dua Lipa) 2017 01 New Rules 2018 03 IDGAF 2018 05 One Kiss (Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa) 2018 12 Electricity (Silk City & Dua Lipa) 2018 04 Kiss And Make Up (Dua Lipa & Blackpink) 2019 12 Swan Song 2019 08 Don't Start Now Blackpink's Chart History: 2018 01 Ddu-Du Ddu-Du 2018 04 Kiss And Make Up (Dua Lipa & Blackpink) 2019 02 Boombayah 2019 01 Kill This Love 2019 09 Kick It 2019 04 Don't Know What To Do 2019 17 Hope Not 2019 02 Playing With Fire 2019 03 Whistle 2019 05 As If It's Your Last 2019 05 Stay 2019 04 Forever Young 2019 18 Really 2019 19 See U Later This song spends a 2nd year in the 101-120 section after finishing in 104th place last year. This re-entered my chart after it was one of my favourite performances from Blackpink during their tour show. I was really hoping I could find space in the top 100 for it this year but unfortunately not. 107. YNW Melly - Murder On My Mind My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 8-7-14-17 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 20 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =113 Lyric: Yellow tape around his body, it's a f*****g homicide YNW Melly’s Chart History 2019 07 Murder On My Mind I should point out that I in no way support Melly and think if he did do what he's currently on trial for then I think he's a horrible, despicable human being and I fully understand why a lot of people cannot separate music from an artist; especially when the art is about crime but I always try to and in this occasion I really like the song. He has a weird delivery style that really suits the song. The song he did with Kanye was dreadful though so I'm glad he hasn't had any more meaningful success in the UK as of yet. 106. Young T & Bugsey ft Headie One - Don't Rush My Peak: 05 Chart Run: 15-8-5-11 (4+ weeks) Official Peak: 27 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =100 Lyric: Used to say I wanna put Tottenham on the map but one day I'm-a change the map in Tottenham Young T & Bugsey's Chart History 2018 03 Ay Caramba (Fredo & Young T & Bugsey) 2019 05 Strike A Pose (ft Aitch) 2019 05 Don't Rush (ft Headie One) Headie One's Chart History 2019 05 18Hunna (ft Dave) 2019 07 I Spy (Krept & Konan ft Headie One & K-Trap) 2019 05 Don't Rush (Young T & Bugsey ft Headie One) 2019 03 Audacity (Stormzy ft Headie One) The current hit from hook-kings Young T & Bugsey lands at 106. Headie certainly puts in the best verse. This is back in my top 10 for my first chart of 2020 so could be featuring in next year's countdown. 105. Megan Thee Stallion ft Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign - Hot Girl Summer
My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 7-7-10-12 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 40 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =93 Lyric: You ain't put me in no brands, but I see you proud of me Megan Thee Stallion's Chart History: 2019 03 Handsome (Chance The Rapper ft Megan Thee Stallion) 2019 07 Hot Girl Summer (ft Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign) Nicki Minajs' Chart History: 2014 01 Bang Bang (Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj) 2014 09 Anaconda 2014 05 Only (ft Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown) 2015 10 Monster (Kanye West ft Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross & Bon Iver) 2015 02 Truffle Butter (ft Drake & Lil Wayne) 2015 04 Hey Mama (David Guetta ft Nicki Minaj & Afrojack) 2016 02 Side To Side (Ariana Grande ft Nicki Minaj) 2017 06 No Frauds (Nicki Minaj, Drake & Lil Wayne) 2017 02 Swalla (Jason Derulo ft Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign) 2017 01 Swish Swish (Katy Perry ft Nicki Minaj) 2017 02 You Already Know (Fergie ft Nicki Minaj) 2017 02 MotorSport (Migos, Nicki Minaj & Cardi B) 2018 04 Chun-Li 2018 12 Barbie Tingz 2018 05 Bed (ft Ariana Grande) 2018 01 The Light Is Coming (Ariana Grande ft Nicki Minaj) 2018 07 Barbie Dreams 2018 12 Ganja Burns 2018 13 Majesty (ft Eminem & Labrinth) 2018 02 Woman Like Me (Little Mix ft Nicki Minaj) 2019 07 Hot Girl Summer (Megan Thee Stallion ft Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign) 2019 11 Bad To You (Ariana Grande, Normani & Nicki Minaj) Ty Dolla $ign's Chart History: 2016 01 Work From Home (Fifth Harmony ft Ty Dolla $ign) 2016 20 Real Friends (Kanye West ft Ty Dolla $ign) 2016 01 Sucker For Pain (Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons with Logic & Ty Dolla $ign ft X Ambassadors) 2016 01 Fade (Kanye West ft Post Malone& Ty Dolla $ign) 2017 19 So Good (Zara Larsson ft Ty Dolla $ign) 2017 02 Swalla (Jason Derulo ft Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign) 2018 04 Psycho (Post Malone ft Ty Dolla $ign) 2018 14 Bottled Up (Dinah Jane ft Ty Dolla $ign & Marc E. Bassy) 2018 02 Think About Us (Little Mix ft Ty Dolla $ign) 2019 07 Hot Girl Summer (Megan Thee Stallion ft Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign) Although Hot Girl Autumn would have been a more apt name by the time it was officially released and Ty's chorus slightly undermines the message of the song, this is still a smash from Meg. Really enjoy Nicki's verse here even if it's her only song to be bothering the countdown this year Megan & Ty have one more appearance each. 104. Gesaffelstein ft The Weeknd - Lost In The Fire My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 11-8-(x2)-16-20 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 09 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =127 Lyric: I wanna f**k you slow with the lights on Gesaffelstein's Chart History: 2019 08 Lost In The Fire (ft The Weeknd) The Weeknd's Chart History: 2014 04 Love Me Harder (Ariana Grande ft The Weeknd) 2015 01 Earned It 2015 02 Often 2015 01 The Hills 2015 01 Can't Feel My Face 2016 12 In The Night 2016 01 Starboy (ft Daft Punk) 2016 05 False Alarm 2016 05 I Feel It Coming (ft Daft Punk) 2017 03 Party Monster 2017 01 Rockin' 2017 07 Reminder 2017 03 Secrets 2018 01 Pray For Me (The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar) 2018 01 Call Out My Name 2018 02 Wasted Times 2019 08 Lost In The Fire (Gesaffelstein ft The Weeknd) 2019 03 Heartless 2019 05 Blinding Lights The Weeknd sounds so smooth here, this is the type of song he really excels on. The song didn't really hold up and fell down both my chart and the official one at a rapid pace. 103. Blackpink - As If It's Your Last My Peak: 05 Chart Run: 20-5-9-11-20 (5 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =107 Lyric: We ride or die Blackpink's Chart History: 2018 01 Ddu-Du Ddu-Du 2018 04 Kiss And Make Up (Dua Lipa & Blackpink) 2019 02 Boombayah 2019 01 Kill This Love 2019 09 Kick It 2019 04 Don't Know What To Do 2019 17 Hope Not 2019 02 Playing With Fire 2019 03 Whistle 2019 05 As If It's Your Last 2019 05 Stay 2019 04 Forever Young 2019 18 Really 2019 19 See U Later One of Blackpink's old songs that charted for the first time after I went to see them in May. I certainly listened to this more than it's position here would suggest. According the Last.Fm it's my equal 25th most played song of the year (behind another 5 Blackpink songs). 102. Krept & Konan ft MoStack - Cheating On Wifey My Peak: 09 Chart Run: 13-9-11-17 (4 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 117 Lyric: Adam, Ishmael, Ibrahim sorry I'm just counting the profit Krept & Konan's Chart History 2015 01 Freak Of The Week (ft Jeremih) 2017 03 For Me 2017 04 Ask Flipz (ft Stormzy) 2018 03 Crepes And Cones (Ya Dun Know) (ft MoStack) 2018 19 Chop My Money (Ill Blu ft Krept & Konan, Loski & ZieZie) 2019 07 I Spy (ft Headie One & K-Trap) 2019 14 Keep Talking (ft Stormzy & Cadet) 2019 09 Cheating On Wifey (ft MoStack) MoStack's Chart History 2017 01 No Words (Dave ft MoStack) 2017 01 Bad (Steel Banglez ft Yungen, MoStack, Mr Eazi & Not3s) 2018 05 What I Wanna 2018 03 Crepes And Cones (Ya Dun Know) (Krept & Konan ft MoStack) 2019 04 Fashion Week (Steel Banglez ft AJ Tracey & MoStack) 2019 03 Floss (AJ Tracey ft MoStack & Not3s) 2019 09 Cheating On Wifey (Krept & Konan ft MoStack) Initially this was one of my least favourite's off 'Revenge Is Sweet' but the MoStack chorus is an earworm and as I listened to the album more it began to really stand out. It's still a bit silly but MoStack somehow really sells it. He actually finished at #101 last year with What I Wanna and so very nearly matched it again. 101. Young Thug ft J. Cole & Travis Scott - The London My Peak: 10 Chart Run: 18-10-13-15-20 (5 weeks) Official Peak: 18 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =127 Lyric: F**k your IG, I put somethin' on your sonogram Young Thug's Chart History 2017 15 Heatstroke (Calvin Harris ft Young Thug, Pharrell Williams & Ariana Grande) 2017 01 Havana (Camila Cabello ft Young Thug) 2019 10 The London (ft J. Cole & Travis Scott) J. Cole's Chart History 2015 03 Apparently 2015 05 Wet Dreamz 2016 19 4 Your Eyez Only 2017 04 Deja Vu 2017 04 Neighbors 2018 02 1985 (Intro To "The Fall Off") 2018 03 KOD 2018 19 Photograph 2018 12 ATM 2018 07 Kevin's Heart 2018 14 Album Of The Year (Freestyle) 2018 02 A Lot (21 Savage ft J. Cole) 2019 03 Middle Child 2019 10 The London (Young Thug ft J. Cole & Travis Scott) 2019 02 Sacrifices (Earthgang, Smino, Saba & J. Cole) 2019 02 1993 (Buddy, Smino, Cozz, Earthgang, J.I.D & J. Cole) 2019 05 Under The Sun (J. Cole, Lute & DaBaby) 2019 05 Down Bad (J.I.D, Bas, J. Cole, Earthgang & Young Nudy) Travis Scott's Chart History 2017 06 Portland (Drake ft Quavo & Travis Scott) 2017 03 Know No Better (Major Lazer ft Travis Scott, Camila Cabello & Quavo) 2018 05 Zeze (Kodak Black ft Travis Scott & Offset) 2019 10 The London (Young Thug ft J. Cole & Travis Scott) So missing out and becoming the most unlucky song of the year is 'The London'. Like almost any song he's featured on, Cole really steals this track. Not too hard when Young Thug is the competition I guess I enjoy that you're able to do some maths to work out how much Cole claims he gets paid for a feature "A verse from me is like eleven birds Just did the math, that's like two thousand dollars every word" He spits 210 words in this track so $420,000. Not bad Expect to see Cole appear 5 times in the top 100 but this is it for both Young Thug & Travis Scott for this year. |

100. Sabrina Carpenter - Sue Me
My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 18-8-12-(x5)-14-16-20-20 (7 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =110 Did you ever think that it was hard for me, to walk it off like nothing happened, nonchalantly? Sabrina Carpenter's Chart History: 2019 08 Sue Me 2019 05 In My Bed 2019 06 Looking At Me 2019 14 Take You Back Sabrina Carpenter's EOY History: 2019 100 Sue Me I'd followed Sabrina on Instagram for a while without really listening to her much all that much but she kept spamming this in her stories and through that it got stuck in my head. It's a really charming little pop song and the video is really fun. I wish it did better in my chart now. |

99. Doja Cat & Tyga - Juicy
My Peak: 10 Chart Run: 15-10-11-14-(x1)-11-17 (6 weeks) Official Peak: 80 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =93 And all them n****s wanna know how long it take to pull my pants up Doja Cat's Chart History: 2019 10 Juicy (Doja Cat & Tyga) Tyga's Chart History: 2014 01 Loyal (Chris Brown ft Lil Wayne & Tyga) 2015 01 Ayo (Chris Brown & Tyga) 2015 01 Do It Again (Pia Mia ft Chris Brown & Tyga) 2018 04 Taste (ft Offset) 2018 04 Kream (Iggy Azalea ft Tyga) 2019 10 Low Key (Ally Brooke ft Tyga) 2019 10 Juicy (Doja Cat & Tyga) Doja Cat's EOY History: 2019 99 Juicy (Doja Cat & Tyga) Tyga's EOY History: 2014 14 Loyal (Chris Brown ft Lil Wayne & Tyga) 2015 09 Ayo (Chris Brown & Tyga) 2015 12 Do It Again (Pia Mia ft Chris Brown & Tyga) 2018 45 Taste (ft Offset) 2018 56 Kream (Iggy Azalea ft Tyga) 2019 99 Juicy (Doja Cat & Tyga) Doja Cat obviously got famous for meme tracks like Mooo! but I always felt that it was a little too silly for me to get into. However, I think she's found the perfect balance between fun and serious here. Apparently she unfortunately goes too far the other way on the album. According to the reviews I've heard she's just making normal pop tunes with Dr Luke which is a massive shame really. |

The song is a gut-wrenching tribute about his father's best friend who was a psychotherapist and committed suicide. It really is a beautiful song and one I would recommenced anyone reading this to listen to. Sadly, it's not available on Spotify, I think due to licensing issues with the sample for the band Deer Tick. This post has been edited by LewisGT: 2nd January 2020, 02:47 PM |

97. Nafe Smallz ft Tory Lanez - Good Love
My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 12-7-11-14-20 (5 weeks) Official Peak: 47 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =105 My favourite outfit when you naked Nafe Smallz's Chart History: 2019 06 Greaze Mode (Skepta ft Nafe Smallz) 2019 07 Good Love (ft Tory Lanez) Tory Lanez's Chart History: 2019 07 Good Love (Nafe Smallz ft Tory Lanez) Nafe Smallz's EOY History: 2019 97 Good Love (ft Tory Lanez) Tory Lanez's EOY History: 2019 97 Good Love (Nafe Smallz ft Tory Lanez) This song is absolute vibezzz. Yes there's some dreadful lyrics (Tory's "it's 2AM in the morining" I'm looking at you) but the song sounds so nice and chilled I don't care. I have to give props to the producers on this track, Gummy Beatz & OT Beatz, for the little riff on the chorus as it's one of my favourite parts on the instrumental of any track this year. 96. AJ Tracey - Cat Pack
My Peak: 03 Chart Run: 12-3-7-18 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 56 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =102 Nowadays, every song I do's a plaque AJ Tracey's Chart History: 2018 04 Butterflies (AJ Tracey & Not3s) 2018 05 Lo(v/s)er 2019 02 Psych Out 2019 13 Jackpot 2019 17 Double C's 2019 18 Country Star 2019 04 Fashion Week (Steel Banglez ft AJ Tracey & MoStack) 2019 11 Ladbroke Grove 2019 04 Thiago Silva (Dave & AJ Tracey) 2019 02 Elastic 2019 03 Cat Pack 2019 03 Floss (ft MoStack & Not3s) 2019 07 Halloween (ft Young Adz) 2019 12 Zelda (ft SahBabii & Safe) 2019 08 Kiss And Tell (AJ Tracey & Skepta) AJ Tracey's EOY History: 2018 10 Butterflies (AJ Tracey & Not3s) 2018 63 Lo(v/s)er 2019 96 Cat Pack This was the first song AJ released after the success of Ladbroke Grove and wasn't really what he needed to drop to capitalise. This sounds more American than any of AJ's hits, quite DaBaby-esque and with the producers of Sheck Wes's Mo Bamba & Lil Nas X's Panini. This is alright but it's not one that is going to be remembered. |

95. Blackpink - Forever Young
My Peak: 04 Chart Run: 4-10-16-13-15 (5 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =97 Blackpink is the revolution! This was the 2nd track on their 2018 EP 'Square Up' and is probably their most popular song not to have a video. I actually bought the Square Up EP from HMV the other day and it's pretty stunning. |

94. Sabrina Carpenter - Looking At Me
My Peak: 06 Chart Run: 9-6-8-15-18-19-(x2)-20 (7 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =86 It could be you and me, but you know that I'll steal the show Sabrina Carpenter's Chart History: 2019 08 Sue Me 2019 05 In My Bed 2019 06 Looking At Me 2019 14 Take You Back Sabrina Carpenter's EOY History: 2019 94 Looking At Me 2019 100 Sue Me The highest Sabrina track drops out at 94. This is just so confident and really stood out when listening to her album, it's incredibly bold and exciting and demands your attention. The slight Latin flavour is a nice touch which makes me think it would have been massive if it was what Camila came back with. |

This is a really nice smooth track reminiscing about the hardwork that lead to their success. DaVionne's voice on the chorus is really unique which really helps make the track stand out. Omen drops come great punchlines in his verse too. A great song to listen to in the summer to relax and get lost in the music. This post has been edited by LewisGT: 2nd January 2020, 04:11 PM |

I can't believe Abel pushed Heartless in front of this though when this is the one that sounds like the obvious smash. These new two have a long way to reach his previous hits in my opinion. Although, this has climbed back up to 7 in my first chart of 2020 so should hold well into this year. |
