James Arthur looks set to make it a month at #1 after increasing to over 100k last week, whilst new entries to the chart should include Maroon 5's 'Don't Wanna Know' (feat. Kendrick Lamar), The Vamps & Matoma's 'All Night' and Little Mix's 'Shout Out to My Ex' (the latter released on Sunday following their performance on the X Factor Results Show). The likes of Hailee Steinfeld & Grey's 'Starving' (feat. Zedd) and NEIKED's 'Sexual' (feat. Dyo) should also continue climbing the Top 40.

Kings of Leon seem set to reach #1 with a fifth consecutive studio album, WALLS, leading a collection of new entries from the likes of Tom Chaplin (lead of Keane), Rebecca Ferguson, Two Door Cinema Club, Katie Melua, Phil Collins, Beth Hart and Blackberry Smoke. Oasis should re-enter with Be Here Now following the release of a deluxe box set featuring re-mastered bonus content.

Breakdown of the week

The entire album top 10 next week is likely to be new entries again. There are no debut albums there.

These artists all have albums in the Amazon Top 10 new releases: Beth Hart, Blackberry Smoke, Katie Melua, Kings of Leon, Oasis (re-release), Phil Collins, Pink Floyd (re-release), Rebecca Ferguson, Tom Chaplin and Two Door Cinema Club. Just to give an indication as to what the new entries to the Top 10 are, according to what Mint Royale tweeted.

Edit: In fact, Mint Royale has just revealed this: https://twitter.com/MintRoyale/status/787240724723105793

This is what I've worked out, but I don't know what Mint is basing the album tallies on (studio albums? all albums? Top 40 albums?). I can't work out where Phil Collins or Pink Floyd should be.

1 Kings of Leon
2 Tom Chaplin
3 Oasis
4 Two Door Cinema Club
5 Beth Hart
6 Blackberry Smoke
7 Rebecca Ferguson
8 Katie Melua

12 Green Day

Mint Royale does make a good point re Debut Albums - Tom Chaplin's Album will, however, still be classified as a Debut Album despite his Keane past.
Should be an easy number 1 for Kings of Leon, the race for number 2 a bit more unpredictable.

Alongside those 8 albums mentioned above, Phil Collins should be in top ten along with maybe Hillsong Worship who are doing well on ITunes, The Pink Floyd album isn't out to November

Number 11 must be Barry Gibb then ? (22 Beegees Albums + 2 solo Albums)

A little Surprised Bob Dylan did not get a boost into the Top 40 after publicity of his Nobel Prize win.

Not sure when he will next have new material out but he is managing to fit in a Live Box Set and a Live Album before the end of the year - ones for the completists smile.gif

Suspect we may have to wait a while longer for that fun fact. For someone that has all ready Released at least 10 Live Albums the new Albums will probably only get to the lower reaches of Top 100 (sales are low at moment but given the number of new Albums getting Released each week they will struggle to make any impact).

I'm confused - if they're new entries, then by definition they must be debuting on the chart? huh.gif
