Narrowly missing out on a place in the final is 'How to Save a Life' - robbing us of two "life" songs battling it out in the top 2. The song first charted in the UK in January 2007 and reached its peak twelve weeks later in April of that year when it reached #4. It spent 11 weeks in the top 10 and 31 weeks in the top 40 which was very impressive at that point in time.

Awww was hoping The Fray would edge past Lily Very glad how well it did though, I always thought it a bit divisive on here, and I do see why his voice isn't for everyone, but I find it a beautiful song lyrically.

Never liked 'Smile' so obviously Evanescence has to win for me. I never really liked any of Lily's first era output (except Alfie) ''The Fear' & 'It's Not Fair' >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Bring Me To Life to win by default. How To Save a Life was my fave in this list.
Also Smile is definitely not one of my fave Lily Allen songs.
