I'm resigning as Sports Mod with immediate effect as I feel that I have taken the Sports forum to the best I can. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the Sports forum. I just feel that now is the time to resign and it should go to someone who has more time in their hands as I just don't have the time anymore.

Oh I saw the post in the Personal Charts Forum first.

I'm really sorry to hear this Mack, you have been a fantastic contributor to this Forum & I really hope you do stick around even in a non-Mod role.

Gutted by this, you were definitely the pro-active mod of us! Will be different now you're gone...

Anybody fancy becoming the Sports Mod alongside me, just drop a PM.

Hey Mack,

Sorry to hear about this, don't suppose you fancy dropping me a PM so we can talk about this? I'm sure we can think of some workaround - you do a fantastic job!

That's a shame Mack, most of my favourite threads were created by you so I will definitely miss you as a Sports mod. Are you still going to run the Premier League prediction competition?

Edit: just seen the "bye buzzjack" thread in the lounge.

No mincing of words here. This is a huge loss to the forum. Your hard work has transformed this part of Buzzjack and greatly increased activity here. You will be a tough act to follow and I really do hope you stick around even if you are only able to come on fleetingly.

You've really grown on me as a poster since you came a mod here and I'll miss chatting with you if you do leave us for good sad.gif

What's going to happen to the Buzzjack Premier League Prediction Competition now? I would be willing to keep that going for the rest of this season at least if no one else can/wants to.

That would be good, I'm sure Mack wouldn't mind.

I've spoken to Mack, and I think he's just going to take an extended break for a little bit, then see how things are.

Ok then.

I hope Mack comes back at some point, if he does I would hand that thread back to him instantly as well because it was his idea.

I'd much prefer Mack stay than leave, he really is the lifeblood of this forum and wouldn't be half the place without him. If the intention is for him to have an extended break, I am happy for any contributions and ideas from anybody as to how we can keep the forum ticking over in his missed absence.
