During the announcement (and the release) of "The Archer" on Instagram live, it was revealed that Taylor was shooting the music video of the next single from Lover. QUOTE She also introduced "The Archer," a new track from the album produced by Jack Antonoff, now available on all platforms. The track immediately shot to #1 on iTunes. Swift clarified that this song isn't "the next single," and that she's currently shooting a video for the follow-up single to "You Need to Calm Down."

The Archer is the best song she's released so far this era. ME! is atrocious, and You Need To Clam Down was okay. Nothing beats Delicate yet though.

Only #8 on NMF tho and no hot hits again ahhh track 2 on today's top hits tho! Hopefully it'll debut top 50 on spotify and top 40 officially. CIWYW debuted at 29 right?

This is her best song from this era so far for me.
Reminds me of What A Wonderful world. I could see this being big if it was an official single too. A longer runner on the charts than ME and You need to calm down but with a higher peak |
