The start date is officially confirmed - March 7th. The last season was a bit up and down but mostly solid, much better than BBUS was last year, and ofc had the most iconic eviction ever!
I'm so glad this got a reprieve after initially being cancelled |

BB Can has outshone BB US for the past five years so I'm really excited for this!! The cancellation was baffling and very disappointing, so I'm delighted it's back

I was so disappointed in the Canadian version in its first go that I actually refused to watch it so I missed a couple seasons but the last two (or three?) have been WAAAAAAYYYY better than the US version. Although - I can do without the obvious product placement. |

The cast is out, I need to properly look but the first twist is that we can vote for the last two, one boy and one girl is an "angel" and one of each is a "devil" and we choose between them, a good and fitting first twist for the season of choices but it'd be gutting to be the one not chosen ofc D:

I love the house a lot this year. It makes me happy that they put a lot thought into the Have not room the recent ones in BBUS don't look as bad in comparison (apart from most recent one that looked like a bitch to sleep on)

Less than 24 hours to go until I lose my life to this <3 The cast seems great (Rozina and Paras being my early faves, the latter is SO Neda season 2) and the house looks fab (I love the heaven and hell concept is everything) plus I love the emphasis on choices as that could lead to some great twists, so I am READY *.*

I'm actually quite disappointed, it seems like they went so far in their diversity casting that they just loaded up the rest of the cast with "Douche-bros" and the stereotypical basic white girl.
Also, stop giving Canada any influence. We suck at our decisions and I hate how it impacts the game. With that being said, there were a few standouts, for good and bad reasons: Andrew: He went in to the DR with the right attitude in not caring, but, made some pretty horrible decisions. Johnny: Hate him already. This is almost like all the BBCAN Gay's we've had (sans Kenny) all in one. He won't last. Paras: Actually really like her, plus she lives 15 minutes from where I grew up. Derek: Typically hate the duche-bro's, but, out of all of them he's probably the best choice to get behind. Rozina: Well she was fun for about 15 seconds. God woman! Stop screeching! I want her out first if she's going to be this annoying. I guess for the Gatecrashers, I would root for Kirsten? She was not pleasant to listen to at all, but, at least she referenced some sort of gameplay (and Cassandra). Perhaps BBCAN should have taken the year off, this is off to a disappointing start. |

Rozina SCREAMS first boot. I like her, but she's a little annoying and loud and when there isn't much game to go on etc for the first few days, it's gonna end up being "she's annoying"
I like the twists and set up so far, could be interesting as there's much more blood to get on your hands! I agree about the cast though, it is a bit generic but we'll see how they all grow on us. Kirsten is the only one I'm that taken by of the gatecrashers, but I hope she's not just gonna try and get through simply by being Poundland Cassandra. |

Out of the only people that were interesting tonight
Johnny: Good on him for winning HOH/POV, but, you stupid? Hamza: I feel like he's trying to control something he has no scope in controlling.. Just looking at him makes me feel he is untrustworthy Rozina: As much as I hated her Episode 1, I'm sad to see her go. Her plea in the HOH room was actually really good, but, it's week 1.. get the easy targets out, and you made yourself any easy target |

Honestly, I hate this twink so much. Everyone is sleeping and he's pacing around like this is some big decision. DUDE... just make the obvious, easy first-week decision. Stop trying to be some mastermind. Playing/thinking this hard week one will be the death of your game.

Its a shame Rozina left first in some ways because she made such a logical plea I would have considered it but alas they were chickens and picked the easiest one off first

Ofc we lose the only diversity in the cast, the whole thing is just a bunch of the same old stereotype And she gets replaced by the two boring "nice" options. Ofc it's only first week but I'm not getting a lot from this season

Very interesting that he put all the diverse people in hell and everyone else in heaven!
It is early days but I do agree that I'm not completely feeling it yet. I guess its just because we haven't seen enough of the houseguests though. I don't have a clue who any of them are and lots of them blend into each other. I genuinely haven't been able to distinguish any of them so far. She might have been horrendous but I really do feel gutted for Kirsten! To be a major superfan and be that close to entering the house only to be taken away from you by someone who has only watched the show whilst being sequestered! Odd that they're playing so much on the fans bringing the show back and a fan can't even get in the house. |

I guess we're gonna have to give it longer, the last two series were instantly more engaging because 4 had Nikki who's my absolute fave from any Big Brother as well as Tim who's probably 2nd or 3rd out of all BBAU housemates, and then 5 had the all stars. Even though the latter was disappointing in regards to the all stars given how quickly they got picked off as a rule, it was just much more interesting from the start to see how that dynamic worked. Whereas in this series, comparatively not a lot is happening, and it doesn't feel like the twist we've had is really enough. But I'll give it time as I think non all stars series or those with similar twists of the US format do take time to get going sometimes and it's only been a couple of episodes.

After the last episode...
Andrew: Sometimes watching the useless people that don't know how to play the games and just run their mouths is fun, but this is just painful... Erica: Serving up Willow lite Realness. Hamza: Let's get one thing straight, you are not 'Our Boy'. My initial statement for him served to be true, but I think if he survives and flies under the radar he could be the next Adel. Getting himself nominated was actually quite smart, he stands a good chance to win the POV at the moment. Ryan: Actually pretty decent nominations upfront, but at least from what we've seen on the show I don't see how this gets him ahead at all.. where were the deals!?! Paras: Hoping she is a Neda 2.0 (..well, 3.0 I guess since we got Neda 2.0 already and she sucked). Veronica/Merron: idiots They need to make the competitions shorter. We need to see more gameplay. |

I propose that we ban houseguests from referring to themselves as "your boy". Honestly makes my skin crawl every time, the arrogance is off the chart.

Ugh, I know, I can't cope with the second hand cringe. This series is really failing to grab me, no one I particularly care about, it's like they've taken a step back. |

POV Episode...
Ryan - Yeahhhh... any power or deals you had this week is gone.. that blew up in your face. Erica - K. So. I really like her. She will be out pre-jury I thinks. Andrew - I felt he really pushed himself in the POV. Although uncomfortable to watch, he tried, he deserves some respect. Paras - SO CUTE *.* Pleasseee be a Nu-Neda. GURL SAVE THIS SEASON. |
