On the subject of Monolithic from the last few posts in the voting thread, I just checked Spotify again and it had this to say under the artist bio; “Monolithic is the alias of the Japan-born, New York based music producer and DJ Jun Torii.” so the person who sent this artist can be forgiven they have indeed followed the rules properly. Bré can apologise to them later when they are revealed.

So on our flight this evening, the results will be presented in a round-the-world format as we start with the country with the most northerly point and end with the most southerly (South Africa), I have checked and this does ensure some tension will be kept up throughout. Sorry for snubbing both my fellow dance mods, it was not intentional.
 So yes, Monolithic was mine, and yes he is New York based (which I did state on the Google form at the time) but I also knew he was from Japan. It was not perhaps the most obvious entry, especially as it’s currently missing from Spotify, but when YouTube introduced me recently I saved the link just in case it would come in handy! ]Thank you for the points so far. *.* |
