I like Wrecking Ball audio but hate it with the video- it is a really nice song when you don't see Miley licking sledgehammers

Loving the two Saturdays songs in the retros- Disco Love is an amazing pop classic

Cheryl Ann Fernandez-Versini (née Tweedy, formerly Cole; born 30 June 1983), known professionally as Cheryl Cole, is an English recording artist, songwriter, dancer, and television personality. I remember the 2004 chart so well, and being pissed off Ronan blocked Brandy's "Afrodisiac" from making the top 10 (plus it would've made 8 new entries in the top10 I think, a record).

1999 top was great as per usual. "2 Times" deserved a week at the top imo, massive at the time.

Biography
Rather than the usual bombast or snooze-inducing "relaxation music," the U.K. six-piece known as Clean Bandit mash classical music and pop forms for an airy and dreamy yet driven sound that's like the chamber music version of house music. The core four-piece of the group were known as the Chatto Quartet, a classically trained string quartet that performed J.S. Bach and cited Jacqueline du Pré as an influence, but their post-show, wind-down music often consisted of garage, two-step, Craig David, and Arcade Fire tracks. The quartet members were aware of both producer Jon Wandeck and MC Ssegamic through the duo's work in photography, and when Wandeck suggested they play on one of his house music cuts, Clean Bandit were born. Ugly Heart is such a big grower. First time I heard it I thought it was ridiculously cheesy and boring, now it has wormed its way into my affections to become one of my favourite songs of the year .

Despite the devastating news regarding Simone, I hope they manage to continue. They obviously have potential.

For me it is definitely Pompeii- I heard it for the first time in a few months yesterday and it sounded amazing and I have always loved loved Pompeii whereas I only love Budapest

LuvBug are an electronic dance music trio consisting of London-born DJ & producer Marvin Humes, Manchester-based producer The White N3rd and producer/songwriter JKAY. Humes and JKAY grew up in Woolwich, East London with JKAY becoming part of the songwriting/producing duo Tracklacers. They worked with producers including Danja (Justin Timberlake, Usher) and Afrojack (David Guetta, Major Lazer) and also produced early material for JLS, the pop/R&B boy band Humes was formerly a part of. N3RD has produced remixes for Diplo and Azealia Banks and was introduced to Humes through songwriter Ali Tennant (Guetta). In April 2013, the trio came together at a London-based studio and started working on material. The group released a string of remixes for the likes of Leah McFall & will.i.am, Inner City, Case & Foxy Brown.

Well this is really good, just as good as 'Ghost' I think! Definitely not getting the negative-ish reaction.

#7 isn't a disastrous result but it is a little bit disappointing after how massive 'Ghost' was. Hopefully she has another big hit in store anyway if so many people are so adamant this was a poor choice...

Favoring a naughty schoolboy look that makes him seem even younger than his already tender years (22 when his first major-label album was released), Scottish artist, producer, and remixer Calvin Harris has a similarly youthful and forward-looking approach to his music. Skipping the usual apprenticeship in the clubs or on indie labels, Harris went from posting his own D.I.Y. electroclash music online through MySpace and similar sites, to signing with the multinational giant EMI almost in a single step. A short time later, he was producing material for Kylie Minogue, Dizzee Rascal, and Rihanna.

Born on January 17, 1984, in the southern Scotland city of Dumfries, Harris was first attracted to electronic music in his teens and was recording bedroom demos by 1999. Two of these songs, "Da Bongos" and "Brighter Days," were released as a 12" club single and CD-EP by the Prima Facie label in early 2002 under the artist name Stouffer. I also think 'Glow' is fantastic I don't understand the negative reaction, although may be it's not as negative as we thought considering the amount of people disagreeing! Anyway I think it's done its job in giving Ella momentum going into the album release as the iTunes pre-order for that is sitting in the top 10 - incredible for a pre-order!

Raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of fourteen to pursue a career in country music.
