After Lewis Capaldi snatched the #1 last week, will it finally be Calvin Harris' turn at the top? Jonas Brothers' comeback single Sucker is set to be their first Top 40 appearance together since 2008, and maybe their biggest hit to date. Benny Blanco's I Can't Get Enough is among various new releases; including Ellie Goulding, Martin Jensen/James Arthur, Roddy Ricch, Freya Ridings, Marina and more

Following two top 10 singles, Tom Walker's debut album What A Time To Be Alive is favourite for the #1 spot. Hozier's Wasteland, Baby! and Bryan Adams' Shine a Light also challenge for a top five place, with other new releases from While She Sleeps, Tom Petty, Solange, Daniel O'Donnell, Weezer and Sundara Karma

Breakdown of the week

Calvin will be #1 this week thanks to the 59p drop on iTunes

hope Hozier does well, guess he'll be around #5, since most people are still stuck buying those soundtracks

Interesting to see the RIP Keith Flint reaction on charts... Will Fat of the Land be top 5?

Think the response in the album charts will be huge - their official webstore crashed almost immediately.

Wouldn't have thought so, with only 4 days of charting. That was a great album but I think Music For The Jilted Generation might be seen as the more classic of the two, I'm not sure?

Flint has not much to do with Jilted though, he was "just" a dancer then.

That will be the same as when Bowie died, expect if they could go top ten if they're streaming goes up as well which it probably will

I'd definitely expect 'The Fat Of The Land' to be the most popular of their studio albums, as it's home to their two (arguably three?) most classic songs and it was a gigantic seller at the time. It is their highest album on iTunes at the moment (#14, with 'Their Law' at #17 (this to probably be their highest charter?), 'No Tourists' at #27 and 'Experience' at #36). I hope they can make a good impression on the album chart with these 4 days of sales. 'Firestarter' making the top 100 singles again is probably a tall order given the perma-ACR (and I don't know if they'll make that much of an impact on Spotify anyway).

Actually interestingly enough it appears 'Firestarter' is only 3rd on their list of most streamed songs on Spotify, a way behind 'Breathe' and 'Smack My Bitch Up'. Surprised, I thought it'd have been first by miles given it was their only top 40 hit in the USA.

Hope that Calvin can hang on at #1 this week but it's way too close to be sure of that - I'd guess Lewis won't be pushing social media so hard to get a second week at #1 so he won't have the same end of the week boost as last week but you never know ~ Cool to see Tom Walker comfortably heading for a #1 album, can see this potentially ending up being one of the year's biggest sellers.

Who knew there was such demand for new Jonas Brothers music though *_* Oh and of course THRILLED to see everyone's favourite chart king Daniel O'Donnell locking in his obligatory annual top 40 album so early this year after leaving it to the very end of 2018 cheer.gif

Was just wondering if I'd missed something re: 'Bally' suddenly entering the top 40, but quickly found an answer after searching it on YouTube, there's a new remix of it. Seems to be a bit of an ongoing trend following the same thing happening with 'AirForce' and 'Gun Lean'.
