Many record companies are now reissuing 80s and 90s albums in deluxe/remastered formats including unreleased remixes, b sides and new tracks. Recent examples include the Kylie PWL albums, Bananarama, Cathy Dennis and Donna Summer. I'm interested to know which ones you would still like to see released?
Here are some of mine;
Halo James - Witness
Cathy Dennis - Into the skyline
Kim Wilde - Love moves * There has been some indication this may be released later this year
Donna Summer - She works hard for the money * waiting for a proper reissue with extended mixes of title track
Kylie - Kylie Minogue & Impossible Princess * With new mixes of Confide in me and unreleased material
Olivia Newton John - Physical, Soul Kiss, The Rumour and Totally Hot
Whitney Houston - Whitney & I'm your baby tonight
Madonna like a prayer !!!
Tori Amos' LE, UTP and FTCGH.
New Order's Repoblic
Manics - Gold Against the Soul
Everything's Archie by The Archies.
Sadly, I SO would
KM94 and Impossible Princess have already been re-issued.
Obviously this would never happen but The KLF'S White Room could do with an extra disc of the 12" mixes.
Phil Collins and Def Leppard are due one.
Duran Duran, Kim Wilde, and The Police will do nicely
And the first two big Tori Amos albums are being re-issued next month, though they've only added B-sides to them, nothing new.
A-Ha Stay on these roads is being reissued in deluxe format later this year and there are other reissues lined up.
All of Ace Of Base's albums (in physical format, the digital remasters are superb).
Here's the details of the Tori re-issues: http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/news/tori-amos-little-earthquakes-and-under-the-pink-deluxe-editions/
Worth keeping an eye on SDE, he's pretty well-informed about forthcoming re-issues.
Thanks.
