Well, unfortunately the deadline has come and gone and with no word from either of the absentees about why they haven't voted I'm left with no option but to declare voting closed. Unfortunately this means Bhangra and Buzzjack Mountain have been banned from BJSC 135.

On the other hand this also means we have a winner cheer.gif cheer.gif

I know I said results might be at 7 PM but unfortunately since that means 6 PM for me it would be a bit restraining so unfortunately results will start at 8 PM GMT+1 (UK Time)! I'll start the thread later today but feel free to hype away here until then!

i really wonder who discovered Realiti through this contest. it feels like this song is already kinda known and there are plenty of Grimes fans, myself included.

It will be interesting to see how it does. Definitely feels like the most well known song to be entered in quite some time, albeit in demo format.

And me! But I admit I’m not at all a Grimes fan so that’s not a shock

'REALiTi' was new to me as well, I hadn't yet ventured far enough outside the bubble of chart music & the Radio 1 playlist to have heard it at the time (and I don't really ever go back to listen to older songs by artists who I have 'discovered' since then).

It was honestly the first Grimes song I’ve ever heard I think or in the very least the first one I’ve liked 😅 never really managed to get into her

Grimes is not an artist I particularly care for, so this was actually a discovery for me also

The only Grimes I know is Ashley Grimes who played for Manchester United and the Republic of Ireland in the 70s and 80s.
