Chart Commentary

"Good evening and welcome to this Bank Holiday weekend Top 40 Countdown by awardinary!

Thank you to following 5 people who viewed and commented on my personal chart last week: JSG, Cow Cow, dan::G, coi and SSP. Responses to your comments are in the below post.

Still no change at #1 as Marea (We’ve Lost Dancing) notches up a third week. Joel Corry starts to fall meaning Noizu are back at #2 still contending for a week at the top. Dua Lipa is now Top 5. The biggest climber this week is also the Track of the Week, and no surprises to learn it’s Galantis, David Guetta and Little Mix.

The highest new entry is by Jubël, and there are three others joining it including music by Meduza, Rowen Reecks and Disciples.

Rag’N’Bone Man is the biggest faller for this week, and the chart bids farewell to Nathan Dawe, ARTY, Chicane and Faux Tales.

I don’t really find it too similar to Fake Friends but it might have been nice to see a single going in a different direction I might admit.

Prospa should hold a steady few weeks in my chart I would feel.

That's a fantastic #1! I'm loving the new Fred Again... track 'Diana (You Don't Even Know) at the moment! Nice to see your very good BJSC entry so high, I really enjoyed the sound you went for this time

Heartbreak Anthem is a bit of an earworm! Not sure if it's for me though. Love Again up to #4 the video is coming soon, get ready for the slayage

Summer 91 repeaking I'm wondering if it can snag a week at #1 here hopefully!
Oh wow! Love again top 5! And Kath has told me the video is coming soon. I'm excited!
Hero top 10 I am enjoying this for now. There's just something about it that's bugging me though and I can't work out what it is.
Last Time is slaying those 20's position so hard where will it end!!
I'm quite happy to see Starstruck has gone top 30 for you as well

nice to see Marea holding on to #1 here! would be extra great if it can finally go top 40 this week.
I'm quite enjoying that Mentis tune now I've heard it as well. Meduza's newie is a big improvement on Paradise for me, but obviously won't be a hit single. Solid Gold is rather good as well, made the lower end of my chart.
