Thought it'd be a good idea to have a thread where we can all track the latest chart activity. Here goes...
Push The Button has been discounted on UK/Ireland iTunes for the second time this year. It's currently at #178 on Irish iTunes. Last month it managed #153 on UK Spotify, so hopefully it'll make an appearance again soon.
The Love Actually Version of Too Lost In You was added to a new Spotify playlist last week, and managed a peak of #174 on Spotify UK. This edit is well over a million plays now, and it's creeped into their Top 10 at #7. Get Shitty has been booted out.
Too Lost In You is a great song and quite Christmassy. Should sell a few copies this year.
Definitely! Will be interesting to see how it fares on the charts this year. The LA Version is up to #6 on their Spotify Top 10 now.
Too Lost In You (#84) - iTunes Norway
Will be interesting to track how far TLIY rises over the next 4 weeks as Love Actually and Christmas Playlists get broken out
When Spotify added the Love Actually Version to a playlist earlier this month it had a massive impact! Will be nice to see some more chart action in the lead up to Christmas.
Latest updates:
TLIY iTunes - #166 Australia | #139 Gambia (NE)
Also - very random, but great to see! Perhaps the albums have been discounted in these countries?
Three Apple Music - #133 Bulgaria (NE)
One Touch Apple Music - #47 Mongolia (NE)
Gambia & Mongolia? That impakt
Still slaying worldwide.
And the global impact continues...
Overloaded Apple Music - #192 Oman (NE)
Yaaaas Oman. Get it son!
Did we see any impact in the UK from the S4M reduction to 59p?
Some updates!
Norway iTunes - Freak Like Me (#143)
UK iTunes - Overloaded (#975)
UK iTunes - Song 4 Mutya (#1148)
UK iTunes - Too Lost In You (#1269)
As expected: Too Lost In You #855!
Another boost today! 2 versions are charting on UK iTunes:
TLIY #562
TLIY #1342
That Love Actually impact.
Curious to see if we can get closer to the top 100 as Christmas draws near
Unfortunately not. #703 and #1487 on UK iTunes.
However, a massive update in France! #57 on iTunes.
Ooooh well done France!!
Disappointingly low in the UK
Really nice to see! It actually reentered the French Top 100 back in 2014, so there's always a chance it could make another appearance.
It's up to #447 and #1126 on UK iTunes, which has brought Overloaded back into the album chart at #672. Let's see how things go over Christmas!
Always nice to see a reappearance in the album chart!
Didn't know it returned to the French chart! That's awesome!
Yep! Just a pity this is the ONLY news we get these days.
One Touch - iTunes: #48 Denmark (NE)
Overload also passed 7 million plays on UK Spotify today!
Push The Button - iTunes: #171 New Zealand (NE)
Too Lost In You - iTunes: #16 Belarus (NE)
In the UK, Push The Button recently passed 23 million plays, and Freak Like Me (in place of TLIY Love Actually Version) has made it's rightful return to their Top 10 at #8 (it's on the Spotify Easy 00s playlist as of today which might be why).
UK iTunes Albums - Change #1381
Nice to see something other than Overloaded charting!
Yaaaas Freak!! It really needs to be up there in the top 10.
Interesting to see Change doing something, as you say it's nice it's not Overloaded for once!
It's just been added to iTunes' 'Top-selling albums under £5' - that'll be why!
The timeless Freak Like Me made an appearance on the UK Spotify Top 200, April 12th:
https://spotifycharts.com/regional/gb/daily/2018-04-12
Racked up 48,859 streams, peaking at #182. It's now #6 on their Top 10, and just about to pass 4 million plays.
Overloaded: The Singles Collection is currently at #332 on UK iTunes. Such a consistent seller - would love to see a recent total!
I don't think it takes much to hit the lower reaches of the iTunes charts these days. So it's probably a couple of k at most since the last update
I am loving that they keep dipping in and out of these charts though. Shows they still have a market and people who are discovering and loving their music
Album: Overloaded - The Singles Collection
iTunes:
#122 United Kingdom (NE)
Oh interesting. Nice to see it back
Mutya and Siobhan are featured on today's Spotify #ThrowbackThursday playlist. GHOSTS!
OMG someone at Spotify has taste!
The most random chart appearances EVER:
Million Different Ways
iTunes:
#17 Slovenia
Situation's Heavy
iTunes:
#18 Slovenia
Caught in a Moment
iTunes:
#19 Slovenia
3 people in Slovenia have went wild with a Three album discount.
I wonder if they've been used in a TV show over there or something.
I am living for that level of taste being shown though. Million Different Ways and Situation's Heavy are both fab. My feelings on Three are extensively documented.
Overload
iTunes:
#200 Norway (NE)
Push the Button
iTunes:
#187 Austria (NE)
Taste.
Red Dress was on throwback Thursday this week, hopefully that’s helped it a little.

Just wanted to post them somewhere to keep track.
This seems like a good time to update this topic. I'll try to post an update every week with their top 10 most streamed Spotifty songs, will be interesting to track how much their songs increase on a week-to-week basis.
As of today:
01. About You Now- 82.256.060
02. Push The Button- 81.264.205
03. Round Round- 21.363.690
04. Too Lost In You- 36.799.079
05. Hole In The Head- 16.431.932
06. Overload- 17.155.406
07. Run For Cover (MNEK remix)- 191.699
08. About You Now (Radio Edit)- 13.595.096
09. Ugly- 13.263.425
10. Freak Like Me- 9.511.339
Average monthly listeners: 3.024.032
Overall I would say their streams are quite healthy, it's good to see Run For Cover has climbed another place in recent days and their monthly average keeps increasing. Just hope Freak will hit the 10 million mark soon, pains me to see it this low.
First update!
01. About You Now- 82.771.588 (+515.528)
02. Push The Button- 81.750.133 (+485.928)

09. Ugly- 13.328.685 (+65.260)
10. Get Sexy - 10.339.806 (was not top 10 last week)
Average monthly listeners: 3.094.029 (+69.997)
Can't believe Get Sexy has overtaken Freak Like Me again
I blame Ho-Lee Smokes.
Interesting that Hole In The Head has started picking up steam since Overload has surpassed it a while ago in total.
Freak deserves nothing less than 1bn streams. Banger of a track. Hopefully with their comeback we will start to see their numbers pick up and a lot of songs March towards 100m. Huge parts of their catalogue still holds up extremely well
Hole In The Head is featured on Little Mix's Girl Band Vibes Spotify playlist which is just short of 20,000 likes:
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6ZrvUwBXzv8HvY3dsKA3f6
Good taste. And will hopefully benefit from a few extra streams.
New update!

Average monthly listeners: 3.127.677 (+33.648)
Quite a big increase for About.. Last week it was up around 500K and this week over 600K. Push also had a very nice increase.
They all seem to be up (except for the RFC remix), so at least it indicates that their One Touch push is having positive effects on their overall streaming numbers. Time to release the next remix I feel...
I don't get why Freak Like Me isn't doing better tbh. It doesn't seem to appear low when you search for it either; I guess the Adina Howard version might have some negative impact on it, but really, the backing track is entirely different.
Great to see an uptick in numbers. The important thing I guess is that it’s rising and showing there’s interest in them still. That is a solid sign for the future
01. About You Now- 83.869.689 (+493.110)
02. Push The Button- 82.287.504 (+438.611)

04. Too Lost In You- 37.296.638 (145.148)
05. Hole In The Head- 16.784.426 (+107.027)
06. Overload- 17.402.909 (+76.693)
07. Run For Cover (MNEK remix)- 374.000 (+37.576)
08. About You Now (Radio Edit)- 13.773.069 (+50.924)
09. Ugly- 13.461.497 (+60.091)
10. Get Sexy - 10.403.042 (+28.646)
Songs outside the top 10:
Run For Cover - 1.511.084 (+6.734)

Change - 1.668.063 (+4.091)
Denial - 2.973.881 (+10.194)
Girls - 2.138.869 (7.823)
Average monthly listeners: 3.096.325 (-31.352)
Not a very strong week for them unfortunately! And it seems strange Get Sexy is still in the top 10 with Freak doing way better numbers..
I assume that the MNEK mix is artificially pushed into their top 10 which is why Freak is out as it was 10th place. Sadly at +20k it will take freak forever to close the gap and swap spots with Get Sexy
I would have assumed its overall, I don't use Spotify personally, but total play counts for all the songs you have there in the top 10 are the 9 highest + MNEK RFC out of all the songs you have figures for.
I cant see New Year, Soul Sound, Angels, Caught In A Moment, Follow Me Home, No Can Do, About A Girl, Wear My Kiss or Flowers making the top 10 on total play count either.
to me it looks like a lightly manipulated all time top 10 to pitch the latest release into it and give it additional traction vs a dynamic top 10 based on what folks are currently enjoying.
Friday was their biggest day on Spotify yet!
How do you even find the top 10 like that? Great to see though.
Yay 🥰
A few more updates since not much else is going on at the moment:
About You Now
Apple Music:
#520 United Kingdom (+107)
Push The Button
iTunes:
#74 Ireland (NE)
#1360 United Kingdom (NE)
Too Lost In You
iTunes:
#1469 United Kingdom (NE)
Some random iTunes updates:
About You Now - #83 (Ireland)
Too Lost In You - #98 (UK)
Let's hope Love Actually gets a good peak showing this year!
Really random, but Too Lost In You has been bouncing around the Shazam charts over Christmas:
Shazam:
#44 Czech Republic
#58 Norway
#102 Finland
#102 United Kingdom (looking at the Shazam chart for UK, it's fallen -42 since yesterday, so I guess the peak was much higher)
#157 Croatia
#187 Belgium
#188 Denmark
I'm guessing people have heard it and haven't known what it was. I hope this means they've added it to their Spotify playlists.
The Xmas power of TLIY never ceases to amaze me. Here’s hoping a few went on to check out other material
Just noticed There's A Place is #1 on Siobhan's Spotify top 10, which seems quite random? Her monthly average is around 17k now which is obviously WAY too low, but seems higher than usual. I could swear it was always around 7/8k.
I don't remember seeing Love Actually on at any point this year didn't see any TLIY boost either.
Nice to see In The Middle increasing so much compared to 2020! Underrated bop.
Glad to see some of the OT20 remixes having a good impact!
There's A Place is stunning. Saying that all of Ghosts is stunning, so any of the tracks deserve to be on top.
That’s great news! What are the other three?
Real Girl, Song 4 Mutya and ??
Just A Little Bit?
This is not real love maybe???
You’re most likely right. I was thinking it would be a collaboration.
Could be! I’m not a Spotify user so I’m not 100% sure.
The RFC NMEK mix passed 1m today!
Push The Button features on https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWSIaDfaHJHox which has over 177k likes and is also being advertised on Spotify! Should add to its streams quite nicely over the next couple of days.
Since things appear to be livening up in the world of Sugababes, I thought I'd see how their top 10 is streaming on Spotify following on from Chemistry's June 2021 update:
01. About You Now - 110,093,273 (+26,223,584)
02. Push The Button - 107,154,646 (+24,867,142)
03. Round Round - 29,636,967 (+7,729,285)
04. Too Lost In You - 46,349,722 (+9,053,084)
05. Hole In The Head - 22,729,515 (+5,945,089)
06. Overload - 21,600,791 (+4,197,882)
07. About You Now (Radio Edit) - 17,100,644 (+3,327,575)
08. Ugly - 16,710,937 (+3,249,440)
09. Stronger - 8,744,613 (+1,646,522)
10. Get Sexy - 11,997,608 (+1,594,566)
Run For Cover (MNEK Remix) was top 10 this time last year, but has since been replaced by Stronger.
Just outside their top 10:
Freak Like Me - 12,033,122 (+2,371,509)
In The Middle - 4,525,673 (+1,052,498)
Shape - 5,556,730 (+864,697)
Run For Cover (MNEK Remix) - 1,099,976 (+725,976)
Red Dress - 3,660,257 (+599,575)
Run For Cover - 1,800,137 (+289,053)
Freak Like Me's gains are much higher than both Get Sexy and Stronger, so not sure why it's not top 10...
They're on 3,107,498 average monthly listeners which holds an increase of 11,173 on last year.
Enjoy!
FLATLINE ACTION!
iTunes:
#3 Bulgaria
#22 Sweden
#36 Brazil
#91 United Kingdom
I know, it only shows how poor iTunes sales have become, but still... #Justice4Flatline
ETA: #89 in UK.
#78
#55!
#52!
#50
ETA: #45!!!!
#42! Higher than I ever expected it to go, but it would be nice to see it reach the top 40 on iTunes at least.
They’ve did it! #40!
38! Very happy. Some small justice served 🥰
I did not think people use Apple music anymore, unless it was just to upload their own burnt or unavailable music that is not on Spotify.
#37! I'm guessing it's going to peak somewhere around here.
Can someone grab a screen grab of it on iTunes Chart?
What was the original iTunes peak back in the day?
Thanks for the link. I hope it peaks within top 15
I'm so happy for them! Top 30 is more than I ever expected.
Btw - is it just me or is Overloaded: The Singles Collection missing from UK iTunes? I can't seem to find it in their store.
It does seem to have peaked now (#30) as it's down to #37. We'll see if that download campaign does anything later tonight, but I'd assume most fans have downloaded it already?
Back up to #35!
I purchased it this morning 🥰
It's been blocked for as long as I can remember. Shame because I like the song too.
Is anyone else having issues with the following?
When I play No Can Do Bimbo Jones Radio Mix from the Complete Bs, it literally plays 2 seconds then goes onto the next and goes on a skipping song spree, not sure if it's my spotify/laptop or what
60k increase in Spotify listeners the past few days! We love to see it.
The Flatline music video has had a solid boost over the past week - now on 62k views! Won't be long until it's in their YouTube top 40 (though I do wish they'd just combine it with the MKS upload).
Also:
Too Lost In You
iTunes:
#94 United Kingdom
Lordy it’s a bit early for the Xmas boost
You’d think after all the recent hype we’d have seen more appearances on iTunes.
Nothing significant I know, but good to see their Westlife shows made some impact on iTunes:
Round Round
iTunes:
#66 Ireland
'Too Lost in You' was used on Strictly at the weekend and got the song as high as #15 on iTunes with a second version just outside the Top 100! Still showing at #24 too.
It was at 12# the other day.
Some how Run For Cover ended up at 8 on the physical singles chart??
Ohhhhh I wonder if that’s the remix ep
Haha so random but so brilliant!
Anyone have a screen grab of run for cover on itunes chart?
91.6m streams this year!
The Lost Tapes
#2 New Zealand
https://kworb.net/itunes/artist/sugababes.html
I know that's probably 5 sales, but still, impressive!
I need those TikTok Gen Z people to make one of the songs go viral If they can do it for a 11 year old GaGa album track, surely they can do it for this.
Drum feels like a track that could go viral tbh if given the chance.
If one would go viral that would be incredible, the absolute ultimate payoff
The Lost Tapes
#74 Australia
#3 NZ (Peak: #2)
Also:
Too Lost In You (I assume this is because of Love Actually airings)
Shazam:
#77 Norway
#82 New Zealand
#189 United Kingdom
TLIY always ends up in iTunes at this time of year
Up to #18 in Australia on iTunes.
#1 in the Philippines! They stan Queentya
Back up to #2 in NZ. Stan harder with those six sales.
Still #18 in Australia but with 10 Christmas albums ahead of it.
#13 Thailand!
#13 in Australia.
9 in Australia now!
Just came here to post this.
We have a top 10 album in Australia, on iTunes!
Already at 9 in the UK
Number 7 now and already highest new album
We gotta get physicals
Looking like it might be number 1 in Aus.

Go 2 sales in Philippines!!!
#1 in Australia would be incredible! I’ve done my bit.
It’s the #1 non Christmas album in Australia on iTunes, and #1 on iTunes Pop albums. Is that enough to claim it as an outright #1??
Seen a Screenshot showing it at 1 on Aussie iTunes
Up to 4 on the UK iTunes
Ah ok, that’s good. It’s still showing at #9 for me, #1 on the Pop albums though.

Great to see it creeping in on Apple Music - I don't expect much from streaming, so it's good to see it at least making some minor impact lol.
Also, Too Lost In You is continuing to make some impact on Shazam, presumably people looking for it after Love, Actually airings:
Shazam:
#56 Norway
#77 New Zealand
#149 Ireland

That’s with zero promo in the middle of the Christmas madness just on hype alone!
Hopefully this takes them to sign a nice deal with a BMG type of label and make a proper push for the next album if that one materialises!
Seriously if Spotify is giving them the same kind of traction it might Chart and that honestly would be a hell of a gift.
Zero promo and 100% just fan service. And not even like casuals or that but like proper diehard have been hanging off every soon for the past decade hardcore fans.
Agreed, this is really impressive so far. Surely a record label somewhere is seeing the potential here.
On the iTunes Australia Pop songs chart Today is at #65 and Victory at #189.
#154 on Apple Music Australia.plenty of Christmas albums ahead of it. Hopefully it can reach the top 100 after they clear out.
Interesting to see that "Too Lost In You - Love Actually Version" is within their Popular Top 10 on Spotify, in 8th place (while the original album version is 4th). A lot of Love Actually viewers must check out the Love Actually OST and play it via there!
Too Lost in You (Album Version)
23rd Dec streams: 28,769 / total: 50,788,060
Too Lost in You (Love Actually Version)
23rd Dec streams: 13,200 / total: 4,884,569
23rd Dec combined streams: 41,969 / combined total: 55,672,629
There's also a Radio Edit with a total of 1,933,756 streams, so those 3 versions combined take the total to 57,606,385.
Too Lost in You is doing a lot better at the moment than Round Round which added 24,111 streams to its total, but is quite far behind Push The Button (+60,704) and About You Now (+56,380 [album version])
So ‘The Lost Tapes’ is #2 in iTunes worldwide by the kworb metric
Also up to 10 in UK Apple Music. VERY eager to see how is it gonna do in Spotify! I hope a couple of tracks will break the 5 digits barrier!
Same! It’s so heartwarming to see them have a hit album on Apple Music. They’re on the main page of Apple Music as a new release and I’m really hoping that some of the AM playlists get updated with some of the new material, like the Sugababes Essentials or the NewMusicDaily one

Back in the Day: 7 413
Decent result I'd say since they're not well-established on streaming. Hopefully a couple of tracks will make it onto playlists.
Thanks for sharing. Looks like it’s off to a decent start.
This is actually exactly what I was expecting for! And Flatline is the biggest gainer of 15k. In one or two days it should cross 1.5m!
Also interesting how is it gonna change. Right now everything is gaining more or less according to the track order with the biggest track that is standing out is ‘Today’. But it should change to the fan favourites more soon!
It was down to #20 on Apple Music when I checked this morning, but is back up to #15, supposedly due to Christmas albums starting to fall out
Do we get album charts on Spotify?
I wonder how far it is behind Now Christmas, hopefully that should start falling now and it can sneak a #1 peak. Also #2 on Amazon’s albums chart so that’s really good, hoping it can creep into the top 100 even if it is at #100!
Drum: 21 509
Flatline: 1 498 357
Love Me Hard: 18 818
Summer of '99: 19 980
Boys: 19 144
Metal Heart: 14 746
Beat Is Gone: 13 889
No Regrets: 15 201
Today: 16 086
Victory: 13 326
I'm Alright: 13 268
I Lay Down: 12 661
Back in the Day: 11 585
Obviously a slower day yesterday - partly due to it not being "new" but also everyone playing Christmas music. Flatline is close to 1.5m now, Boys and Summer of '99 is showing early signs of favouritism. No Regrets / Today are obviously doing a bit better than the tracks surrounding them. Hopefully a few of the tracks will be pushed to playlists...
Would be nice to see some on playlists
Unfortunately I wouldn't count on any playlisting, with it being a completely independent release and numbers being too modest for Spotify to notice.
So this is how it went on day 2 + the linear approximation how it would go if all the tracks were equally liked and the only factor would be the track order:
Track Streams | Approximation by track order
Drum 7479 | 7479
Flatline 7940 | 7203
Love Me Hard 6706 | 6928
Summer of '99 7301 | 6652
Boys 6750 | 6377
Metal Heart 5267 | 6101
Beat Is Gone 5088 | 5826
No Regrets 5532 | 5550
Today 5681 | 5274
Victory 4704 | 4999
I'm Alright 4839 | 4723
I Lay Down 4401 | 4448
Back in the Day 4172 | 4172
To be honest I think it's more like 'Love Me Hard' is un-liked for some reason Same with 'Victory'. But yeah, 'Summer '99' is a bit in front too.
'Today' is also definitely gaining more than its track number would suggest though.
And seems like 'Back in the Day' will struggle to cross 100k the longest, it's really drifting apart from the rest.
That’s disappointing, Back in the Day has been my favourite Sugababes song since I first heard it. I’m not surprised about Love Me Hard though, that’s what they get for giving us that on tour when they had bops like Summer of 99 in their vault
Love Me Hard is stunning and got a well deserved outing on tour
If you say so, not a personal favourite of mine
^ Love Me Hard is one of my favourites, sonically it's beautiful!
Meanwhile little by little it continues to gain streams! Yesterday was a bigger day than the day before with 84161 streams overall, up from 75860. Most of the tracks are above 20k now and Flatline safely above 1.5m.

Lovely to see flatline over half a mill!!!
I don’t actually dislike the song lol just think they had better options that would’ve gone down better on tour
I think Summer of 99 would’ve been great on tour.*
*I have not yet seen them on tour but will be in February.
They really need some more uptempos on the album. I would have taken off victory and I lay down for other better tracks.
The albums have never been particularly filled with uptempos, One Touch doesn't have any
It's hardly as if the album is full of torch songs I've used it for my runs the past week and it works surprisingly well, the only section that kind of slows down a bit too much is Metal Heart / Beat Is Gone.
But even songs like Push The Button really isn't uptempo and they've never really strayed far from midtempo.
Up to #12 on Apple Music, so good news that they're just not falling out
It’s still at 3 in iTunes too according to kworb worldwide! 11 in Australia and 10 in Spain (!).
It is really unlikely to chart, but I’m happy they grabbed some easy worldwide downloads, which should help turning the whole project into more of a profit.
iTunes Sales Are naff all these days but with a cd/vinyl they’d have been locked on for a solid showing. I know they’re not arsed about a chart position and this is just a bit of Fan Service but it would have been nice. Maybe if we’re lucky they can squeeze into the 90-100 range
Meanwhile another 83k gained on Spotify, but what's more interesting is that 'Summer of '99' has become the second streamer behind 'Flatline'. And 'Drum' fell below that, 'Boys' and 'Love me Hard'.
It actually goes with my taste too, as I loved 'Drum' from the start the most, but grew old of it very quickly.
Another 80k added yesterday! Everything fell in streams though. The steadiest is 'Beat is Gone', which lost just 0.1% of its streams of the previous day. The biggest fallers are 'Back in the Day' (-7.9%), 'I Lay Down' (-7.7%) and 'Flatline' (-6.1%). 'Summer of '99' has a chance of being the biggest gainer today actually, as well as becoming the highest album track! And 'I Lay Down' with 'Back in the Day' are really drifting apart from the rest now.
Things stand like this now after 5 days:
Track Overall | 28.12.2022
Drum 43 994 | 7 148
Flatline 1 523 943 | 8 071
Love Me Hard 41 042 | 7 372
Summer of '99 43 694 | 7 863
Boys 42 312 | 7 685
Metal Heart 32 174 | 5 706
Beat Is Gone 30 454 | 5 462
No Regrets 34 023 | 6 158
Today 34 408 | 5 954
Victory 29 189 | 5 077
I'm Alright 29 283 | 5 323
I Lay Down 26 736 | 4 422
Back in the Day 25 291 | 4 316
I guess I Lay Down and Back In The Day being the final two tracks on the album might be what has them drifting apart from the others.
Happy to see Summer Of 99 doing well though.
I think the biggest surprise is that Victory seems to slump a bit - it's early days still, but No Regrets, Today and I'm Alright doing slightly better isn't great for it.
No surprise Summer of doing well. People tend to like a banger. No surprise I lay down is low. I like the track but at
Times it’s boring
iTunes Australia:
77 - Only You
78 - Back To Life
109 - Breathe Me
Deluxe Edition of The Lost Tapes is at #143 on iTunes Australia.
Back to Life, Breathe Me and Only You are currently occupying the 21-23 spots on UK iTunes. Hopefully they can get higher so The Lost Tapes get a bit more exposure that way.
ETA: Deluxe edition up to #6 on iTunes, regular down to #23.
Deluxe up to #2 on iTunes!!!
Fantastic to see the deluxe selling so well given it’s just three extra songs.
Today, thanks to random playlistings, have run away and got 23 000 streams yesterday. It's now been streamed 63.8k times. Closest (besides Flatline) is Summer of '99 at 59.2k.
I feel like with a bit of push or playlist support Summer Of 99 would do decently with streams.
Great for Today!!!
So after its first full week on Spotify the Sugababes gained 634,523 streams with 'The Lost Tapes'! Not too bad! And it will defo cross 1m after the next week, with the three new tracks and a slight support of Today for NMF.
1 Flatline 64808
2 Today 63843
3 Summer of '99 59247
4 Drum 58517
5 Boys 56957
6 Love Me Hard 54798
7 No Regrets 46012
8 Metal Heart 42874

10 I'm Alright 39404
11 Victory 38852
12 I Lay Down 35157
13 Back in the Day 33659
My prediction is that everything is easily gonna pass 100,000 streams pretty soon, most of the tracks will do so within January. I'm very happy with the outcome, and especially all of the profits go to the girls themselves, so they can build on that / make up for all of the expenses probably involved with gaining all of the rights for using the tracks.
Yesterday was their second biggest day with 96k streams added, mainly thanks to 'Today' of course.
That’s pretty good. I think Flatline, Today and Summer Of 99 will pass 100k in the next week or so.
Thank you for sharing those stats Zárate!

Looks fairly consistent over the last couple of days which is nice
Another good day for 'Today', not up to 80k! Overall 97k streams for yesterday, that's with the new tracks, and this is how everything fared yesterday:
1 Today 16233
2 Summer of '99 8354
3 Flatline 7771
4 Drum 7746
5 Boys 6769
6 Love Me Hard 6729
7 No Regrets 5279
8 Metal Heart 4700
9 Only You 4511
10 I'm Alright 4425
11 Breathe Me 4347
12 Back to Life 4338
13 Victory 4301
14 Beat Is Gone 4292
15 I Lay Down 3715
16 Back in the Day 3696
Also curious that 'Summer' is now above 'Flatline' and would have been higher than 'Today' if it wasn't for a playlists boost!
Out of the new tracks 'Only You' fared the best right from the start, despite being the last track. But the new tracks will have a long way to reach a nice milestone.
It’s looking great! Should see today hit 100k fairly soon at this rate
Totals for 2022:
It's a shame NMFUK didn't update this week since Today would've likely made it on it. I'm not sure if they'll add it when they update again sadly, which is a shame because just being added in some smaller territories clearly helped it.
A small thing, I did see that their artist recommends thing still suggests the regular edition of The Lost Tapes rather than the deluxe edition.
I don’t think this was added to any Australian ones either sadly.
Today has passed the 100k mark!
Yay! Hopefully it’ll be Summer Of 99 next. Though probably a little while away.
Surprised nothing made an appearance after the NYE performance
I’m guessing if anything it would have seen a boost to Overload or About You Now.
Get Summer of 69 on a playlist!
'Today' had its second biggest streams gain since NMF! up 18k to 124.7k. Could it be playlisted elsewhere, or it's still the effect of NMF?
All of the deluxe tracks are above 10k now.
Also they're gaining hard on monthly listeners. The other day I checked, it was on 2.7m something listeners, now they're on 2,837,994!
Superb update!!!
Great to see them get some traction on listeners. New music and a major promo piece like the NYE thing is fab to remind folks they’re a thing
Added to New Music Friday in Australia. 27th position on the playlist.
Also 'Today' is added to 'All New All Now' playlist, made of 532k followers! +18k more yesterday. The rest is slowly declining in daily streams, but that was expected. Still very healthy figures, with several tracks about to cross the 100,000 mark within days!
Tbh I'd love to see the engagement stats! Like how many people "liked" the track, how many people went to the album, and then how many listened to the other tracks... Shouldn't be many, but there should be some! But given they got added to a fairly big playlist with no promo or label support must mean, the engagement must be at very least fairly good?!
Also by my calculations, the album made its first million streams since the release! (not counting the pre-release figures of 'Flatline'). I expected it to take a bit longer, but thanks to 'Today's playlisting we're already there!
If they're being added to NMF Aus/NZ then I figure there's a big chance that Today will be on the UK list which will give it a big boost for the coming week! Really good.
Some great news!! For an independent release with no real exposure or promo or anything it’s doing great
Of course I’d love it to do numbers, go to number 1 etc but that’s not the point of this release. It’s just for us and 🥰
Yeah considering it's got no label backing, radio support etc. It's amazing it's playlisted.
I'm not expecting anything chart wise but if it can draw some old fans back or ring in some new fans then it's a great result.
‘Today’ is 4th on New Music Friday UK!!!
Amazing. Hoping for some good streaming updates this week now.
4th?? That’s amazing!!
That’s a fab spot on the list for a indie
When will we get the next batch of figures?
Interested to see how Today is going after it’s playlist add.
Thanks.
So Today is a chance to pass 200k soon then I’m guessing. Also Summer of 99 should get there in the next day or so to which is great. Just a shame that Back In The Day is last of the regular tracks. But being the album closer has probably played a part in that.
Yesterday 'Today' did 18,713 plays! Second best day yet. Will be beaten tomorrow most probably. I didn't do an update, as there's nothing significant there.
'Summer of '99' and maybe 'Drum' should cross 100k tomorrow! I think 'Today' has a strong chance to cross 200k tomorrow too.
Great to see them making steady progress towards these milestones
Amazing for Today!
Of course the usual Spotify update doesn't happen when it's supposed to happen when we all want to see how Today's doing
I’m a negative nanny but I was really expecting 200k+ for Today
But happy for two more 100K+ so soon.
So some nerdy stats!
Friday to Thursday the tracks grew by 48%, excluding 'Today' it was 37%.
On Friday 30th Dec to Thursday 29th Dec the tracks grew by 25%, excluding 'Today' it was 3%.
To make the most clear picture we need to compare the next Friday to the next Thursday, but yeah - it very seems like NMF had a very healthy effect on the album overall!
And finally, I ranged the tracks by the biggest growth in plays from Friday 06.01 to Thursday 05.01 and got a huge surprise from 'Breathe Me'! And 'Summer' for some reason one of the least effects, despite being one of the earlier tracks. Will be very curious to look at the today's (no pun intended) stats.
1 Drum 11830 114%
2 Breathe Me 3399 107%
3 Today 34179 83%
4 I'm Alright 5568 67%

11 Love Me Hard 6059 21%
12 Victory 3709 21%
13 Metal Heart 3961 18%
14 Beat Is Gone 3674 16%
15 Summer of '99 6686 15%
16 No Regrets 4499 14%
And what is even weirder to me is that 'Today' from NMF is from the standard, not deluxe, edition. Nevertheless, the deluxe tracks got a very healthy boost in streams.

Overall on week 2 the album gained 577k streams, opposed to 635k streams on week 1. That's with the three new tracks and the support of 'Today' of course, but so far - steady going! Hopefully the whole standard edition safely above 100k by February!
Sorry for the triple post, but ‘Today’ is the number one track on ‘Golden List’ (50k likes)!
Loving the update and your statistical insights!!
I think they’re doing good, the playlisting is nice to see. Especially as an indie
Drum 113.6k
'99 112.3k
Boys 102.2k
Today 215.8k
Love Me Hard just fell short of passing the 100k mark.
Fabulous!!! And LMH getting 100k tomorrow will be fab too
Love Me Hard not far off is great.
Great to see the support for Today having an impact.
Hope we can double that
Today is now past the 300k mark - 304 792 to be exact!
No Regrets is also about to pass the 100k mark next at 97.4k streams on Spotify.
Today is doing great! And it’s amazing to see them back over the 3 mil line for the first time in a while.
Week 3 results!
As tommie pointed out, 'Today' is above 300k now, and 'No Regrets' joined the 6 figures club from Friday's plays, which makes the majority of tracks from the original edition making there already.
Next in line are 'Metal Heart' and 'I'm Alright', which should make it there until the end of 4th week of album's availability.
Overall week 3 brought 'The Lost Tapes' 480k spins, down from 577k (-17%). Pretty steady, but since next week the New Music Friday effect will have faded away completely.

'Drum' became the second steadiest track behind 'Today' now, which is still propelled nicely by playlisting.
'I Lay Down' became the slowest track of the standard edition (to my great shame!), and 'Only You' now slid to the last position overall. 'Breathe Me' is now the healthiest deluxe track and it falls even slower than many of the standard edition songs!
By the end of January I expect the first 11 tracks of 'The Lost Tapes' to cross 100k, 'Drum' and 'Summer' should sail through 200k and if the playlisting doesn't stop - 'Today' for 500k. I think now 1m is not out of sight for 'Today', which would be very nice for this single that never happened. In slightly worse news, it will not be enough to trouble the top-5 fastest streamed Sugababes tracks: 'Today' is streamed slightly more than 'Overload' so far, but is behind 'Hole in the Head' and everything above it.
Thanks for sharing this information. It’s always appreciated!
I think given that it’s mostly just the core fans that are aware this exists, I think it’s been doing great. Would expect to see some drop off as people decide on their favourites
Sad that Only You is at the bottom though. I’ve been a long time huge fan of that
Hopefully the Radio 2 plays next week will bring some attention to it, but given that Radio 2 attracts mostly an older audience I don't expect much.
The Lost Tapes is slowly climbing the iTunes chart again, currently at #54. Presumably because the R2 exposure.
ETA: #34 now.
I know sales are minimal and it’s probably like 15 people, but still it’s 15 people that hadn’t purchased the album previously.
No Regrets quietly passed the 100k mark and is now at 105k streams on Spotify! Metal Heart (92.2k) seems next in line, with I'm Alright (90.8k) close behind.
Yay for No Regrets!! Loved that song since I first saw the YouTube video of it almost 10 years ago!
Metal Heart and I’m Alright being so close is great too.
Should we start seeing if Radio 2’s album of the week has had any impact? Though it’ll be tiny if any.
^ I don't see any effect to be honest! If anything, the album had a very significant drop in streams from wk3 to wk4. It is down 34% week on week from 480k streams to 319k.
BUT yesterday we had 'I'm Alright' and 'Metal Heart' crossing 100k!
From the standard edition we only don't have 'Beat is Gone' (95k), 'Victory' (94k), 'I Lay Down' (83k) and 'Back in the Day' (83k) in the 100k mark yet. The former two will have made it in a week, the latter two - in early February.
This is how the tracks fared from wk3 to wk4.

The biggest faller is 'Today' but it is still gaining nicely. The most stable tracks are 'I'm Alright' and 'Boys'. In fact, 'I'm Alright' overtook 'Metal Heart' in total streams. Also 'Back in the Day' is now being streamed faster than 'I Lay Down' and has also overtook it in total streams.
^^ Thanks. I’m guessing Today’s drop is a result of being removed from playlists.
It’s all still doing decently though.
The Lost Tapes: one month later
There has been exactly one month since the release of 'The Lost Tapes', which was purposedly made contradictory to all of the general marketing strategies as a gift to fans. And I could say it served very well!
These are the current total streams of the songs:
Drum 189 812
Flatline 1 656 854 (+181 465)
Love Me Hard 159 931
Summer of '99 180 845
Boys 165 012
Metal Heart 105 150
Beat Is Gone 99 043
No Regrets 124 833
Today 407 610
Victory 98 045
I'm Alright 106 715
I Lay Down 85 886
Back in the Day 86 686
Back to Life 39 295
Breathe Me 42 742
Only You 36 462
Overall the album has 3 584 921 streams, of which it gained 2 109 532 (minus the pre-release 'Flatline' streams).
Most of the tracks are already safely above 100 000 streams, with 'Beat is Gone' getting there today and 'Victory' getting there tomorrow.
Sugababes have 3 099 607 monthly listeners now (which is going to fall since now), so I assume this is their peak in this 'era'.
That’s pretty decent. Another two should cross that mark this week.
Sadly it looks like the deluxe tracks are probably 3-4 months off.
Today has entered at #200 on Shazam. Well, it's something at least lol.
All of the tracks from standard edition of 'The Lost Tapes' are now above 100k on Spofity! And 'Today' is now above 500k. Should easily cross 1m mark sooner or later.
50k more give or take, so a while to go
Ah cool, thanks. So still a good few months.
Today at #171 on Shazam. At least it's doing something I guess.
Not bad numbers from this era! It’s great to see them stay above 3m monthly listeners for a while and hopefully as they take their festival set international this summer they should start rebuilding the international audience too
Really need them to come to Germany though. 1.0 was bigger here than in the UK
Today up to #159 on Shazam, The Lost Tapes back at #168 on iTunes. Hey, a sold copy is a sold copy!
While I'll never keep track of minor countries (because it's usually one literal sale), it's amusing when you see really random tracks suddenly charting - someone in Denmark has bought Gotta Be You, Bruised and Maya (!). That's quite a combo of songs!
The taste

Amazing to see Back In The Fay chatting like that.
I was kind of expecting Freak Like Me to be the one to chart on iTunes.
Congratulations specifically to Siobhan, as she doesn't have many songs like this, - 'Today' has reached 1m streams on Spotify!
Flatline above 2m too now.
Hurray!!!!!
Just in time for WTRC to start making its first waves
When the Rain Comes now at 96.220 plays on Spotify, and already showing in their top 10 of most popular songs.
Currently 191k streams on Spotify! Up to 7 in their top 10
Overload is now into the top 5 on Spotify!! Great to see it get its well deserved flowers
Push The Button is over 150m streams!
