So the Danish band are definitely going to be this week's #1 unless someone gets a enough of boost following the BRITS to kick them off, which seems very unlikely considering their huge sales.
Just how long will they remain at #1 though? Are we looking at the next Bryan Adams/Wet Wet Wet here or will someone show them up soon enough? I really hope it's 7 just for the hilarity of a song called '7 Years' having 7 weeks at #1. That seems like a good guess too. |

7 YEARS
jk of course, 4 maybe 5 weeks at #1 but that's what I'm hoping and that it isn't much more. |

I was going to say 7 Years () but you ruined the joke for me.
I have a feeling this could break recent records - the likes of Sigala and probably Mike Posner, Alan Walker and Riton will come close (and DNCE, I'm telling you, Cake by The Ocean will be huge), but I think it's going to last around 10 weeks, unless someone huge releases a new track, which I can't see happening as all the 'huge' people seem to have released songs recently and had their time with it. I hope it's 10 weeks, as well because it really is a great song and deserves (almost) all of those weeks |

I think 6-7, there really is nothing even close on iTunes and they're still at the top on streaming too. Having said that, you never know when something huge will come out of the woodwork!

maybe Rihanna if she has a huge performance at the brits, she has also lots of streams, almost on par with 7 years, and if downloads increase cos of the Brits/video/more airplay...
if not, what about the next Zayn? Sure he'll have another single prior to the album, the surprise factor is gone but if the song is good... |

could rihanna's BRITS performance tonight be the catalyst to overhauling lukas graham next week?
otherwise '7 years' does look set fair for an lengthy stint at the top, but on the other hand something always seems to come up to interrupt/thwart extended runs at the top these days~ |

6 weeks total. Although I could see it doing longer.

QUOTE How many weeks at #1 will '7 Years' have? pointless repeating of the question 3 weeks [ 4 ]** [14.81%] 4-5 weeks [ 10 ] ** [37.04%] 6-7 weeks [ 8 ] ** [29.63%] 8-10 weeks [ 0 ] ** [0.00%] more than 10 weeks [ 5 ] ** [18.52%] Total Votes: 29 well done to the 10 of you who guessed correctly! [provided the song doesn't return to #1 later on] |
