Another YouTube exclusive from Drake released today. Probably not for his new album/mixtape but I suppose we should be expecting something official soon.
Not that impressed really, can we get something that's not a feature or throwaway soon please. |

I'm quite liking this, but he's done better numerous times. I just hope he doesn't spent the whole album trying to appeal to TikTok, and gives us another great track along the lines of God's Plan/Nice For What.

and the video is even more disappointing, a sorta mockery of how rich people like him are all protected in their luxurious mansions separated from the poor than need to continue with their lives no matter what |

Certifying myself as a 12 year old, I am enjoying this. As I was gathering from the reactions to it it's basically just another Drake song with a TikTok bait hook attached to it, the hook is the weakest part of it but I don't find it drags down the song entirely. By no means a highlight of his discography but it does the job as a solid Drake banger. ~

Uhm, Hotline Bling had a meme video, God's Plan was a meme song as a whole and exploded right away on streaming charts, In My Feelings was a TikTok hit with it's dance challenge.
Getting viral hits is clearly something that he likes to aim at in his work. And now he's on Republic which is famous for heavy and clever marketing so wouldn't expect him to change his way of thinking any time soon.
