I recall Bitches being received well on Buzzjack when it was released as it was basically Girls but 1000x better! Although it may not be as well known to get any votes. Break The Rules or Boys maybe?

I feel like it's only Boom Clap or 1999 that are safe qualifiers but they're valuable in the future. Hmm. Out of the two I'd go Boom Clap though (Forever might work but it'd be a risk )

there's Focus, which won her singles rate last year!

she has plenty of great tunes without videos like 3AM (Pull Up), Unlock It etc but even those would probably be too risky

Next Level Charli as well!? I’d love one of Silver Cross, Click, Cross You Out and February 2017 but they’re probably not known enough sadly MAYBE Lipgloss? Otherwise I’d agree with your choices x

Focus is a good bet! Or maybe a more divisive album track like Shake It or I Got It that would pick up enough votes to survive? I think something that doesn't stand out as much would struggle.

'ILY2' and 'Girls Night Out' are 2 of my favourites ('Drugs' too but I wouldn't bother suggesting it) - I might be alone in that, but I think people who don't know them could easily like them if they listened, and I think they could beat a few other artists' album tracks?

Maybe 'Focus' is best to be safe though.

Or 'Track 10', since anyone who knows 'Blame It On Your Love' already knows the bulk of it without having heard it, and I think it was a ~fan favourite~?

Unless it's needed for another round I'd go with 'Gone'. I think on a free-for-all round Charli doesn't have the back catalogue of popular songs that other artists have so it would be wise to go with the strongest reasonable options imo.

I forgot about Charli when I checked all the other threads :') WD her considerably outliving the rest of the rejects.

Honestly, I feel like Charli is primed to lose this round when almost every other artist is looking at really big, popular, well-known songs and Charli... doesn't have many, so I would send whatever has the best chance of getting her through, thinking she may have a better chance in themed rounds.

In my mind, that's probably 'I Love It' or 'Boom Clap', being her only real big hits (apart from 'Fancy') and both popular on this site, as much as it does feel a bit boring to have to send her old hits by default. I know 'Gone' is really loved by fans (though it's not one of my favourites personally) but I'd be wary of that love being widespread enough to compete here? 'Boys' feels like a middle ground being like half a hit and half a fan favourite (I think?) - not sure if that would work out or not.

I'd prefer 'I Love It' over 'Boom Clap' (I still love the former whereas I'm not confident the latter would make my vote in this round), but I don't know which has more fans here. This is how they did in the last Record Of The Decade, if it's worth anything:

221 - 272 - 2013 Icona Pop (feat. Charli XCX) - I Love It ( 65 - 68 - 122 - 180 - 272 - 221 ) 194 32 6.063

'I Love It' has been ahead every time but they've both fallen out of the top 200.
