If it has not avoided ACR by next week then it becomes a serious contender for the Christmas number 1 so how much longer do you think it will last at the top then?

I went for 11 weeks as I can't see any other track challenging it before it goes to ACR and drops to the bottom part of the top 10. Mariah is the likely replacement and had AIWFCIY not been on ACR it would most likely be at number 2 today and number 1 (and a clear leader too) next Friday. Instead I think Mariah will have to wait until a fortnight today to get the (Christmas) number 1.

11 seems the most likely option but I wouldn’t rule out completely the chance of it returning to number one in the new year if it gets a reset from the eoy effect.

As long as it doesn’t exceed 15 weeks, I’ll be happy

11, it's decreasing a pretty steady pace now so I can't see it increasing next week to avoid ACR

No it isn't, it has one more week as its streams increased on its 8th week at #1.

It'll definitely still be #1 next week and then most likely drop off due to ACR the week after, but I have a bad feeling it'll just end up getting a reset and returning to #1 for a few more weeks in the new year because the UK public are cretins.

I can see a combination of Christmas songs and ACR knocking it out of the top forty before it returns to number one after a reset laugh.gif If the people streaming Christmas songs are the ones who usually stream other stuff, a lot of songs will get a reset when people switch back to their normal listening.

11 consecutive weeks but I'm fully preparing for it to reign for another couple of weeks after xmas week. Unless something comes out of the woodwork.
