BUZZJACK SONG CONTEST XIX
New Svetlandiya, Numayania

Hello, and welcome to the final of the nineteenth edition of the ever growing Buzzjack Song Contest, hosted for the first time by Numayania in collaboration . You are joining us in our capital New Svetlandiya this month. Following Mdice's umpteenth win in BJSCXVIII, and the rejection of Eledan the runner up, declined to host (apparenly Shakira was holding the delegation captive in her sexy love cage), plucky young newcomer Numayania stepped in to save the day. But we didn't want to go it alone, so we invited a few friends to the party! We are ready to go with the results of the 19th contest, so before we start, let’s take a second to remember how it got here in the first place, performing their third place song from last month, and Numayania’s most successful entry to date, it’s Le Kid with Mercy Mercy!!!



Alcazar, Numayania's debut act accepted a last minute offer to represent the country again after being dropped by Kopecka mercilessly, but who will do better? Many people think the contest is between Kopecka and Kathaldazia, could we have a female host for the first time next month? Will there be any ‘dark horses’? Will any of the favourites fail? Who will scrape in last? Who will win the R&B battle? Could we have a new points record? Good luck to everyone, all will be revealed in the next couple of hours!!! 50 countries took part, and they've all voted! This is the voting order;

I heard it once a few weeks ago on Jonathan Ross' Saturday morning Radio 2 show when out driving but he never back announced who it was.

So I'm delighted someone entered it in the contest for me to get to know properly that brilliant track. Interesting video too.

I did! Contest was extremely HQ though. About anyone of the songs that got points could've got a 10 or 12. It was f***ing hard. I really feel guilty about not giving you, Utopia and Tinnmark points because in every other contest your entries would've scored big time. So sorry Phil ;( Really shocked at IN2U's performance. .I guess CT got a bit overshadowed by Mini Viva and Dolly Rockers.

That was back when only about 5 people missed out on the final though....it would be letting down a hell of alot of people nowadays!

I think it's just got to the stage where the results need to be done over two nights. I know that isn't always practical but surely with 4 hosts it could have been easily done, with two taking charge each night?

Yeah but how many losing semi finalists really give a $h!t about voting in the final? I know I wouldn't...and on one of the two occasions I've failed to qualify I just didn't bother and even now I'd probably only watch the recap video if I wasn't in the final.

it's fine to have all 50 voting I reckon, but it can be done quicker, it just requires a LOT of prep work...I got it done in just over 2 hours last month, but the prep took me close to a full day to do...had I been doing it live it would have taken me about 8 hours the host should do it how they see fit of course, and this way is fine
