Time to see who's slayed, who's flopped worse than Louisa and who can't read an opening post *.* A reminder of the questions! 01. Name a UK number 1 single by the princess of pop, Britney Spears 02. Name a song that is referred to in the chorus of future number 1 single, 2002 by Anne-Marie 03. Name a music video on YouTube that received over 25 million views during its first 24 hours 04. Name a song from a movie that has charted in the UK top 20 this decade 05. Name a UK number 1 single in 2018 06. Name a female artist and song which has debuted straight onto the A-List of the Radio One Playlist (must be a solo or female led song and need the name of both the artist and song) 07. Name a song released since streaming was introduced to the charts which has spent 12 or more weeks in the top 10 whilst never reaching the top spot 08. Name one of the top 10 most streamed songs by a female artist worldwide (this top 10 includes songs featuring a female artist) (of all time) 09. A couple lil facts before we start x
There's one question which 12 people got wrong (just over 1/3rd of the people playing)  The highest scoring answer is something I would've never predicted

The BPI one was quite hard to research but it could be the 12 weeks in the Top 10 one as well, a lot of the songs I looked at hadn't spent that long there even if it felt like they'd spent a decade there

POINTLESS: Baby One More Time - Cqmerqn 3: Scream & Shout - 777666jason, Addy, Dexton, Jonjo 5: Toxic - Bre, Cameron, Dalek, Dobbo, Jade, Zarate 6: Born To Make You Happy - Bjork, FleetSeb, GavinD, Jack, Liam, Sarah, SM351 6: Everytime - Dan, Harry, Paulgilb, SamJudd, Theo, TS0301, Yorkie3 8: Oops I Did It Again - CianS, Jahq, LewisGT, Mack, Pete, Riser, Sam, Suedehead, Vibe 35: My Prerogative - Dannyboy Kicking off our first round we have only 1 pointless answer for Britney's biggest and most iconic hit!! Cqmerqn's double bluffing pays off incredibly here and I'm shocked more didn't go for BOMT. By far the weakest Britney #1 is up next as her will.i.am collab picks up 3 points, followed by her best song ever Toxic. Born To Make You Happy also picks up more points than I expected (and remains an underrated gem) and the highest scorer is Oops I Did It Again, a pop classic but meh at me picking the top answer Unfortunately Dannyboy scores the first wrong answer as My Prerogative hit a peak of 3 iirc (all I remember is that it was that week where the whole top 5 was American or something). A bop tho. |

Aw I was toying between 'Toxic', '...Baby One More Time' and 'Scream & Shout' but just went for my favourite in the end. Ah well, could've gone worse.

Again surprised by that. Also scoring fairly low are that Jay-Z song and the highest scorer from last round, Britney's classic Oops <3 The Next Episode also picks up a few points whereas the big scorers were for the hideous Bye Bye Bye and Ride Wit Me. 2002 is a bop and I'm ready for it to smash even more after it already went top 10 on release week *.* Four wrong answers here for songs I can't find any references online to being referenced to but if you can show me something somewhere that says 2002 references these songs then I will change your score! |
