I don't like the idea of a ban entry list.
It would seem fair that any song or artist can enter. If there could be an improvement it would be on the voting side. |

I would suggest that instead of stopping the song from entering that some points are removed from it's overall total in relation to the songs and artists chart popularity. For example you could deduce a total of 20 points for it having been #1 and say 20 points for Rihanna's popularity both in the charts and having an dedicated forum here at buzzjack. |

You can't remove points for popularity, as that would just lead to more complaints - it's like putting a song at #20 at #1 because it had the disadvantage that less people bought it! I don't like the idea of removing points - what would happen if the song won? I'm sure the entree won't let it go quietly if point deduction takes away a win... Perhaps a recommendation that singles by the above artists are not allowed unless they missed the UK top 40? |

I think the members here are getting the point of this contest now, so I don't think we gonna have any UK (or World) hits in the coming edition!
so that's why I'm saying we should move on and not make any changes, artists/songs bans etc. and btw more info regarding the 3rd BJSC are coming later this week

why not ban top3 songs for a year after they charted, unless they are still in the top 40, when you wait till it drops out of the top 40
eg. you'd have 2 wait till may to use umbrella or september for about you now. that way the songs aren't as well known as they once were |
