We continue our survivor for one of the biggest selling album of all times and also coincides with the buzz around Mamma Mia again. The rules are simple please vote for YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE and each week I will eliminate the song with the most votes until we have a winner. LATEST ELIMINATED 6th place - Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) (11/33 votes , 33%) 7th place - SOS (9/40 votes , 20.50%) 8th Place - Voulez-Vouz (8/41 votes, 19.51%) 9th Place - Knowing Me, Knowing You (11/43 votes, 26.19%) 10th Place - Waterloo (8/34 votes, 23.53%) 11th Place - Fernando (14/31 votes, 45.16%) 12th Place - Money Money Money (11/34 votes, 32.35%) 13th Place - Super Trouper (8/39 votes, 20.51% FLASH VOTE: 12/22 votes, 54.55%) 14th Place - Chiquitita (6/34 votes, 17.65%) 15th Place - Thank You For The Music (16/36 votes, 44.44%) 16th Place - One of Us (11/32 votes, 34.38%) 17th Place - Does Your Mother Know (9/29 votes, 31.03%) 18th Place - The Name Of The Game (10/28 votes, 37.04%) 19th Place - I Have A Dream (6/23 votes, 26.09%) “Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight)” was released in 1979 and peaked at #3 in the UK Charts. Despite not reaching #1 in the UK, this is one of ABBA's signature tunes, being covered by the A*Teens, and sampled by Madonna on Hung Up in 2005, one of only two officially sanctioned sample of an ABBA songs to date (the other being the Fugees Rumble In The Jungle, sampling Name Of The Game). Boo at 11 of you voting this gem out  “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme” who got 11 votes, tying until the last minute with “Take A Chance On Me” with 10 votes. Close! "Lay All Your Love On Me" had 6 votes, “The Winner Takes It All” and "Mamma Mia" tied on 3 votes and "Dancing Queen" had just 1 vote. The next round could be another close thing! The voting will be open for about a week. |
