Apparently Lana has a new single coming out next week for the movie "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark". It's a cover of the Donovan song

She's got a good track record with film soundtracks. I'm hoping she'll get the Bond theme and it will be like some amped up version of 24.

I'm not familiar with the original but I'm enjoying this version! I love the very subtle change in production that suddenly appears right before "oh noooo, must be the season of the witch", in addition to the chorus itself, quickly ramps up the drama. The layered vocals are lovely too.

Shall put it on my Halloween playlist, in addition to 'Gods & Monsters' already on there.
