Wow, a year since 'Unpredictable' already! It definitely feels like Olly has been away for a while, looking forward to new music from him.
I legitimately prefer 'Fast Food Song' and 'Fool No More' to supposed best song of the century 'Crazy In Love', out of that 2003 top 5. Come at me critics |

Charli XCX Focus - 2nd / 3rd Single Released: 29th June 2018 Label: Asylum Records UK Video Biography Charlotte Emma Aitchison (born August 2, 1992), known professionally as Charli XCX, is an English singer and songwriter. She signed to Asylum Records in 2010 and her releases include four mixtapes (Heartbreaks and Earthquakes and Super Ultra in 2012, and Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 in 2017), two studio albums (True Romance in 2013 and Sucker in 2014), and two extended plays (including Vroom Vroom in 2016.) The songs "Boom Clap" and "Doing It" earned Charli XCX her first two top-ten singles on the UK Singles Chart as a lead artist; the former reached the top-ten of several charts worldwide. As a featured artist, she reached number one in the UK with Icona Pop's "I Love It" and number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 with Iggy Azalea's "Fancy". - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 2013 01 I Love It (Icona Pop feat. Missed the top 40 this week?
Rak-Su & Banx & Ranx Pyro Ting - 2nd Single Released: 29th June 2018 Label: Simco Video Biography Banx & Ranx Montreal-based production duo Banx & Ranx formed in 2014, made up of studio mavens KNY Factory and Soke. The two producers craft a sound that blends reggae and other Caribbean influences into a decidedly more club-ready style, focusing their early output on electronic reworkings of classic tracks by iconic reggae artists like Bob Marley, Sizzla, and Capelton. It wouldn't be until the 2017 release of their single "LIT" that the duo would offer up original music, taking the trap-inflected rhythmic touches they'd been adding to other artists' reggae tracks to a new level. Banx & Ranx continued with steady studio work, doing remixes and production for Gorillaz, Sean Paul, David Guetta, and more before the 2018 release of their original single "Answerphone." - iTunes Rak-Su Pop-R&B quartet Rak-Su won the 2017 season of the U.K. X Factor. Performing original music on the show -- more than any other act before them -- they won audiences over with their showmanship and fun, positive attitude, becoming the first boy band to triumph. Formed in the commuter town of Watford, just north of London, by school friends Ashley Fongho (rapper and principal songwriter), Jamaal Shurland (lead singer), Myles Stephenson (rapper and producer), and Mustafa Rahimtulla (dancer, DJ, and beatboxer), the group was already a well-oiled machine before auditioning, with extensive performance experience and a self-released EP, 2016's Flights 'n' Feels, under their belt. Their unusual name comes from the phrase "tracks vs. suits," signifying the conflict between carefree youth, exemplified in making music, and adult responsibility. After leaving school, the four held down varied day jobs, ranging from physiotherapist to dance teacher. Showing astute business acumen, they formed their own limited company several months before auditioning for The X Factor, to handle any earnings they might make. Despite having previously forsworn the show, they changed their minds, deciding it was a way to get more exposure even if they didn't win. In the event, they did so with ease, becoming clear favorites from the outset and coming first in almost every round; mentor Simon Cowell compared them favorably with One Direction. They performed many of their original songs, showcasing a fun, exciting blend of Latin-tinged pop, rap, and R&B. Following their win, they signed, as expected, to Cowell's Syco label. Their self-penned debut single, "Dimelo," featuring Wyclef Jean and Naughty Boy, hit number two on the U.K. singles chart. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Rak-Su 2017 02 Dimelo (Rak-Su feat. I legitimately prefer 'Fast Food Song' and 'Fool No More' to supposed best song of the century 'Crazy In Love', out of that 2003 top 5. Come at me critics I don’t think it has aged very well but when it was out - like so many R&B anthems from that year - it was just so good! That intro (and it’s use thereon in the song) are absolutely iconic. Can’t quite understand why but these days nothing about it wows me though! |

Cheat Codes & Little Mix Only You - Non-Album Single Released: 15th June 2018 Label: Simco Limited Chart Statistics NE (05/08/2018) | 32-40 Sales: 10k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 08 Sales 79 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video Biography Cheat Codes Los Angeles-based electronic trio Cheat Codes debuted in 2015 with their single "Visions," a floor-filling, radio-ready bite of house in a vein similar to Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. Each of the group's three members -- Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, and Kevin Ford -- has deep roots in L.A., working on individual projects before joining forces for Cheat Codes (Dahl once performed as singer/songwriter Pluginstereo). Their different backgrounds helped inform Cheat Codes' stylistically varied sound, which can range from warm pop to outright big house bangers. After the release of "Visions," they quickly followed with the tropical-tinged "Don't Say No" (featuring Dresses), "Senses" (featuring Lostboycrow), and "Adventure" (featuring Evan Gartner). As they gained exposure on social media and spins on streaming services, they joined the Chainsmokers on tour. Successive singles continued to drop in 2016, when they unveiled a pair of global hits: the top ten, multi-platinum "Sex" (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam) and "Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)" (with Dante Klein). The following year they released their biggest feature yet, "No Promises" with Demi Lovato on vocals, and embarked on the No Promises world tour (taking them to the U.S., Europe, and Australia). The single was certified platinum in Australia, the U.S., and around Europe, peaking in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. They followed their Lovato hit with "Feels Great," which featured Fetty Wap and CVBZ, and "Put Me Back Together" with Kiiara. In 2018, singles like "NSFW" (with Danny Quest) and "Balenciaga" maintained their exposure, while the trio provided remixes for high-profile singles by Thirty Seconds to Mars ("Dangerous Night") and Sean Paul ("Mad Love"). - iTunes Little Mix Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the UK version of The X Factor. They were the first group to win the competition, and following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single. The members are Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson. Little Mix released their debut album DNA in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US. This made Little Mix the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to reach the US top five with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut US chart position for a British girl group's first release, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls. The group's second album Salute (2013) became their second album to debut inside the top 10 in both the UK and US. Their third album Get Weird was released in 2015. Their fourth album Glory Days (2016) became their first number one album in the UK, and also achieved the longest-reigning girl group number one album since the Spice Girls' debut album 20 years earlier, and the highest first week UK album sales for a girl band since 1997. In the UK, the group has earned four number-one singles, including "Wings", "Black Magic" and "Shout Out to My Ex". The group won Best British Single for "Shout Out to My Ex" at the 2017 Brit Awards; they have also received several other awards during their career, including two MTV Europe Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two Glamour Awards. As of October 2016, the group has achieved four platinum certified albums and twelve certified singles in the UK. Surprised this has stayed Top 40! Considering how far it dropped from the Monday update last week to it's position last Friday I thought it'd be well out.

The verses of 'Only You' are really nice but I feel like the drop kills the momentum of the song, have gone off it a little bit.
