TVE have revealed that they are going back to a national selection with the following five artists:
Ruth Lorenzo Brequette Shane Jorge González Raúl La Dama http://escxtra.com/2014/01/tve-confirm-ret...national-final/ I've heard that Ruth's song is in English and is titled "Dancing In The Rain". |

I hope we'll be getting VOX to put Pastora and Anabel to SHAME from OUR RUTH *.*

OMG!
Please be Ruth Lorenzo - I genuinely think she would do well in Eurovision. Easy points from the United Kingdom and could actually provide her with a top 100 hit |

I'd love Ruth to represent Spain! I'm not sure if she will as she isn't as well-known as some of the others. According to what I've read on ESC Forum, Brequette and Jorge have been on The Voice of Spain and Raúl has had some hits in the early 200s.
Apparently Ruth's song is in Spanish and English, the songs will all be uploaded in the next few days with the national final to follow in February (50/50 televoting and jury voting). |

I've just looked at the poll that is on the Spanish broadcaster's Eurovision webpage and the votes are as follows at the moment:
1. Ruth Lorenzo - 71.7% 2. La Dama - 8.7% 3. Brequette - 8.3% 4. Jorge González - 5.9% 5. Raúl - 5.4% Well that is very surprising! I wonder how many have voted in that poll so far! |

Yes he was even popular here in Portugal with his songs back in 2000 with "Sueno Su Boca" and "Baila".
"Sueno Su Boca" came 2nd in their NF, but became a much bigger hit than the winner that summer. They should've gone with that. |

'Más (Run)' - 9/10 - Love. Of course this ain't Coral or even Pastora but still good nonetheless.
'Aunque se acabe el mundo' - 8.5/10 - omg this is so last place with 4 points but I kinda LOVE it. 'Estrella fugaz' - 5/10 - Going to be a major flop if sent. Barely any melody. So generic. And you can already hear the bitch won't provide the VOX. 'Seguir sin ti' - 7/10 - No. Feels like a typical Brian Kennedy-esque entry of early-mid 2000's. 'Dancing in the Rain' - 7.5/10 - Meh. All this hype and for this?! 'Más' better win (but it won't) |

I've listened to Brequette and Ruth so far and both of them are really good! I knew Brequette's song reminded me of something and I've finally worked out what it is after reading ESC Forum!

I was looking forward to hearing Ruth's song but her entry is nothing special. I think my favourite is Brequette followed by la dama but i think it's safe to say spain won't be winning again this year.

I like Ruths song but expected more and expected something different going by her style on x factor.
