Rachel managing a new peak of #50 with 'Stand By You', I'm guessing it will go top 30 next week which is a decent enough result considering her spotify / youtube streams are incredibly poor.

The success of that twenty one pilots track feels quite out of nowhere to me, good on them though!

I seriously hate the Twenty One Pilots song, but I guess it's gonna cross over here by about may and he a long runner.
Yay for Rachel top 50, keep going! |

Wow I didn't notice twenty one pilots were even getting near the top 10 lol. I wonder if this might be a future UK hit for them then? Or if it'll just be one of the (seemingly increasingly) rare US hits that never cross over like Neon Trees etc.
Why is 'Wildest Dreams' an airplay gainer now? Haven't they moved onto 'Out Of The Woods'? |

Why is 'Wildest Dreams' an airplay gainer now? Haven't they moved onto 'Out Of The Woods'? A lot of previous US hits did gain a substantial amount of AirPlay due to all of the year-end countdowns that the airplay chart was bombarded with over the past weekend or so. But even then, "Wildest Dreams" seems like an anomaly - thought it would have gone to something like "See You Again".I guess it depends on all formats, not just pop. |

But even then, "Wildest Dreams" seems like an anomaly - thought it would have gone to something like "See You Again". I'd imagine it's from AC stations switching from Christmas music to regular playlists. But even then I'd think "Hello" would gain the most.I guess it depends on all formats, not just pop. I'm SO glad to see Andy Grammer climbing finally! Excellent start for Tori as well! |
