Might just be the stan in me, but I think Kelly Clarkson has set herself up really nicely to score a decent selling album this year. There seems to be a lot of good will towards her lately (but I can't tell if that's just purely US based or whatever laugh.gif). Hit songs are no longer a thing for her I think, but an album selling similarly to P!nk's 'Beautiful Trauma' album wouldn't be too far out of the realms of possibility.

It's unlikely he will be back in the charts in 2020 but I won't write him off completely, he still could get a feature on a newer UK rap artist's song. If Dappy could come back into the charts quite recently with 'Oh My' why not Tinie?

Be nice to see, last hit according to polyhex was in Feb 2017!

Do you mean 'Hurts 2B Human'? I'd be shocked if Kelly ended up with one of the top selling albums of the year.

I also think the hype is US-based, but that could translate well to the UK. I think the best she could hope for now is a Silver certified album.

Oh I did an online search and he is apparently planning to release new music 'from January'.

Yep, it’s just the stan in you. Katerine Duska has a better chance x

Even Kelly’s album Stronger didn’t have UK sales like Pinks Beautiful Trauma so I’d be shocked if this one did.

She’s more likely to sell as well as what Dido did with Still On My Mind (and that’s if it’s a success) as it’s likely she’ll sell more physicals than she will on streams. She could easily have an Alexandra Burke albums 2 and 3 like success as well.

Is it possible Lorde will return with new music this year? I mean I’m not predicting anything big, but would be nice to see a return to the charts for her.

I think 2021 is more likely for Lorde as she's delayed working on the new album due to personal life issues (i.e. her dog dying). I don't think she's likely to have much commercial success whenever she does return though, another 'Green Light' level hit at best probably.
