First promo image for Universal's new Dark Universe monster movie franchise!

L-R: Russell Crowe (as Dr. Jekyll), Javier Bardem (as Frankenstein's Monster), Tom Cruise (as Nick Morton from The Mummy), Johnny Depp (as the Invisible Man) & Sofia Boutella (as the Mummy).

I'm not THAT excited for The Mummy but still a little hyped for it and I think Bardem as Frankenstein's Monster could be AMAZING. We won't have long to wait for a Bride of Frankenstein casting announcement either as it has been set for a Valentine's Day 2019 release w00t.gif

US BOX OFFICE ESTIMATES

1 Pirates of the Caribbean ($62.2 million)
2 Guardians of the Galaxy ($19.9 million)
3 Baywatch ($18.1 million)
4 Alien ($10.5 million)
5 Everything, Everything ($6.2 million)

Not good for Alien at all, a 70.9% drop from last week and already out of the top 3 after just ONE week at the top, oops! Not great for Pirates either as the last one opened to $90 million in 2011. It'll make mega bucks worldwide though probably, it's already got a worldwide total of $270 million!!

GOTG2 has also just overtaken the worldwide number for the first film biggrin.gif
