splitting the topics as 'The Big Big Beat' is included in the first of two new mixtapes coming from Azealia named 'Slay-Z' rather than from 'Fantasea II'
regardless it is bloody wonderful
no baby no
yes
no
how anyone can say that anything about the song is a "no" is beyond me
the singing parts are such an 100/10
very repetitive and just dull
i don't understand it/love for it more than i dislike it tbh
AMAZING buuuuut considering it uses the same instrumental that Iggy Azalea's 'My World' sampled... is it shady??? But I LOVE it.
Oh my lord her VOICE. Love 'The Big Big Beat' but it doesn't even compare to this.
I feel very conflicted.
The "how does it feel" vocals are tragic but then when it gets into the proper chorus they are heavenly; I never knew she could belt quite like that.
Overall, I am enjoying it but it sounds unmastered and unfinished to me. A bit of a 6/10 effort which I'm not used to from her.
It's a bit shouty atm but has so much potential to be IMMENSE.
'the big big beat' is infinitely better
not at this fan-made version bringing it up from a 6 to a clear 9/10. the powers of mastering
These uhm, **operatic** vocals are a major turn off but that instrumental is BANGING! Sounds like Alice Deejay for 2016.
mixtape is out, the above is a total f***ING BOP
alllll about 'Big Talk' 🙌🏼
That cover tho
QUEEN OF CLUBS is a bop <3 _ <3
Whole mixtape is insanely good!
The changes to 'Used to Being Alone' are all for the better too.
wasn't mad on it on first listen but loving it so much now
07.5 Along The Coast
07.0 Big Talk
08.5 Can't Do It Like Me
10.0 Queen Of Clubs
08.5 Riot
07.5 Skylar Diggins
11.0 The Big Big Beat
09.0 Used To Being Alone
would say that it is probably her weakest release thus far as my heart still lies with her house stuff but i like the fact that she tries so many new and different things on this. trashy pop AZ actually works very well and i have no problem with her experimenting and having fun like this as that is the whole point in mixtape stuff. with 'along the coast' and 'count contessa' being on F2 it seems that the next mixtape will be a more similar sound to what we were expecting so i'm all for this artistic move as long as it is not permanent, which it doesn't appear to be.
she always brings it.
still one of my fav songs of the year
