Pet Shop Boys remain at number one!
Congratulations to Pet Shop Boys, who spend a second week at the top spot with Say It To Me. Meanwhile, Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson make further progress up the chart, climbing two places to #2. It has halved its position for the last three weeks, so logically, perhaps next week it is set to make it to the very top? The Pop Kids remains at #3, in its eleventh week in the top 5. Meghan Trainor falls two places to #4 with Kindly Calm Me Down. It is her third top 10, after All About That Bass (which also reached #1) and No, which reached #6. No currently sits at #73 on this week's chart. Tom Odell appears twice in the top 10, with Magnetised stuck at #5, and Wrong Crowd climbing to #9. Silhouette (up 12 places to #25), Somehow (up 30 places to #53), Here I Am (new at #66) and She Don't Belong To Me (new at #78) also appear. His Kygo collaboration Fiction falls 5 places to #28. The Stone Roses climb 11 places to #6 with Beautiful Thing. Its position is 30 places higher than the peak of its predecessor, All For One, which only got to #36. Still, it climbs back 6 places to #48 this week, so anything could happen. Also in the top 10, At Night (I Think About You) climbs a place to #7, Hymn For The Weekend falls a place to #8 and Wherever I Go falls four places to #10. Other notable tracks Following England's victory against Wales on Thursday (meaning the team is assured of a top three finish), Three Lions climbs 7 places to #13. This Girl also makes progress, climbing 8 places to #21. Just Like Fire climbs 3 places to #23. With it scaling the UK top 40, Into You jumps 12 places to #32, returning to the top 40. Meanwhile, Who Do You Think Of? rockets 44 places to #33. Thanks to the ongoing lawsuit against it, Photograph climbs 28 places to return to the top 40 at #37. There are also new entries from Bastille with Good Grief at #59, Disclosure with Boss at #84, and Dua Lipa with Hotter Than Hell at #96. 2. (4) Clean Bandit feat. Louisa Johnson - Tears {16-8-4-2}
Will be such a shame if this doesn't reach #1 next week, the chart run is just too good for it not to be true Great chart as usual, loving new Stone Roses and Dua Lipa. |
