I already spot a couple of songs I know (which happens in every contest but I'm not surprised)

Bobby K was a potential of a mine for months but I've kept putting it on the bottom of the pile as I don't love it as much as my other entries. I see JSG's stanning of Project 46 continues I also see an Allie X recycling after her BJSC hit Tumor last year aka the son of Uncle de Sean Ali. And Crywolf with Home We Made also last year.

I think I recognise Aeroche's entry and I think BISHØP was entered last year also (I assume the BISHOP and BISHØP artists are different )

Redlight, Elephante and Tonight Alive in also familiar with. Recognise Pegboard Nerds from Pink Cloud which was quite a good song and hoping TheFatRat can smash again this year

It would seem half the dance block is in each semi

Proud to send a Berg in BJSC also



Another Ghost in BJSC that's pretty much a guaranteed top 15 hit then. Who said Ella Henderson was ever a flop?

On first quick viewing, I have to throw a HUGE dosage of hype to Quintessa I didn't want to send it myself as self-recycling, but what a total beauty. UGH, though at being in the opposite semi, History repeating itself already Be kind to it, semi 1 peeps

I would recommend people listen to the full seven minute long MP3 version of my song as well as the video, which cuts it short annoyingly but there's no other link for the full version available online :/ (That said, the video's worth a watch, v. illuminati ) Hope some people from that semi can take to the song, a truly INTENSE beauty <3 (and not a Kate Bush cover, but very alike in terms of sound ;o)

I haven't heard any others of these, though I recognise a few artists, Doop in BJSC *_* (and another song called Ghost lol)

Me when I walk into the BJSC semi thread and see YET ANOTHER SONG called 'Ghost' (from JakeWild again as well!)

Anyway ~ not too many songs I've already heard and not too many cheap / uninspired looking entries so consider me hyped *.*

I did have a strong feeling Rykka would show up in BJSC, if not this month then next - Zaminton possibly contending for a win on their first contest?! A great song which, as Seven already pointed out, has just won over on PopJustice (although that's no guarantee of success in BJSC usually, I can see it doing very well here too). Ooh at Leonardo sticking with Crywolf in the end as well! Hope this can achieve some main contest justice for 'The Home We Made Pt II', another absolutely beautiful song <3

Nice to see my entry injecting a bit of ~class~ into proceedings immediately before 'You Can Touch My Boobies' and 'Let's Get Fxxxed One Last Time'... Not at all sure how my song will go down, especially as I think literally everyone who's already heard it (after I gave in and played it on dubtrack late at night the other day ) is in the opposite semi, so much excite.

halfway through semi 2 and already impressed, I like most, and some good ones will be battling for points if part 2 is as good. So far I'd say contenders to do well are Aeroche and Danaelanda, plus some more quirky ones that appeal to me.

These are the best playlists as they actually have every song. With the exception of Kluminican Republic's which is the only song not on YT (at least in a version that works in the UK). Lol.

(I've tried to use 'official' uploads wherever possible here so I've changed a couple of the links from the ones in the first post but they should still be exactly the same - there is an official video for Allie X's song as well but I didn't change that one as it's a shorter version of the song so idk if Mattias sent the audio one on purpose ~)

I have voted, and had a very solid top 10, all were fantastic in different ways, very good start to the year <3 Was confused by the comments that it all sounded the same, there was generally quite a variety of genres and always something slightly more interesting for every standard dance song.

I couldn't quite believe the country who got my 12, I would never have expected them to send something like this.

Not the best semi ever, my votes sadly dominated by the songs I already knew yet again as bar a couple the discoveries were rather disappointing Probably doesn't help that I'm back to voting off one listen through (due to having a busy week oops), hopefully some growers going into the final! Semi 2 is stronger from what I remember of the Dubtrack session.

Yeah, I did find Semi 2 way stronger than semi 1 but the highs in the latter were higher than the former.

PLEASE get me through. It would suck to be one of the two-three dance tracks in that semi to not get through.
