Avicii has a new single, finally! A surprise release, featuring the vocal talent of John "Chart Murderer" Legend, although I wouldn't mind him getting a smash with this song of course because it's AVICII AND GARRIX 
Amazing tune and great to see Avicii do another high-profile DJ collab after 'I Could Be The One' with Nicky Romero (which was ages ago now!)

"Dance The Pain Away" was pretty good for something with John Legend's vocals, but I have to say that the production overpowers his voice in this one (thank god).

Sounds like a great collab!
I don't mind John and thought he was great in the Tiesto remix of All Of Me so I'm expecting it to be great when I hear it later
EDIT: Are you sure John Legend is getting a featuring credit?

I've put another YT video of the rip in the OP, as the last one got taken down.
Some comments on the video are suggesting the singer is actually Simon Aldred not John Legend (which explains why the vocal is tolerable)
I imagine it's getting a Friday release if the picture linked is anything to go by

I was almost convinced it was John Legend actually (but then again I thought Dear Boy had Lana Del Rey on the vocals for ages )
Not that it matters though as it's unlikely the vocalist will be credited

And it did sound quite un-Garrix-like you'd think a production between those 2 heavyweights would feature a bit of each's signature sound but it does feel way more Avicii-esque. It's a very good track though & would be great to see in the charts.

True, but Sunshine with David Guetta sounded mostly like Avicii also
I am not familiar with the alternate vocalists rumoured but I also would be surprised if it wasn't John

It's decent, I like it more than I liked 'The Nights' on the first listen (and that grew on me a bit) but he's very much sticking to a safe and tired formula.
I was hoping for a 'Friday I'm In Love' (The Cure) reference with those lyrics.

These tracks are all sounding so samey, only good thing about "The Nights" was that it'd been a while since we had Avicii in the charts and so it wasn't so obviously just a replica of his other tracks.

OOH, this is very lovely on one listen, would love it to be another hit for Avicii - capturing the same sort of 'whole life' feeling he's so good at. Some really strong production in there.

I don't know if anyone's noticed it, but in the video there is a tv on the right side between but behind two doors, but its screen is always in front, it is very visible and disturbing when the dancers are coming and the screen is in front (if you know what I mean)

That video is pretty impressive stuff on a phone especially, look forward to seeing more artists using that technology. Great song too, his best in a little while for me.
