Common Ft John Legend- Glory

Chart Murderer John Legend and Common plummet to the edge of the top 40 this week with their Oscar winning song Glory from the movie Selma. This actually fell out of the chart on Wednesday and snuck back in at the last minute. This is a really nice and good song [especially surprising from a John Legend song] but it lacks something for it to do any better here and this is probably it's last week here.

David Guetta Ft Emeli Sande- What I Did For Love

David Guetta and Emeli Sande zoomed into my chart last week with a subpar effort from both artists [though it is above average for David this era] and this week shows it is nothing great as it falls heavily 11 places to 39 and was so close to falling out. Anyway I loved its use in Eastenders and I felt it fitted really well with the episode and the storylines and it is still quite a good dance tune.

Meghan Trainor- All About That Bass

Is Meghan's time in the chart nearly up as she reaches her lowest ACTUAL ever position in the top 40 with massive smash hit and new official million seller [BUT MY CHART GOT THEIR FIRST, HA OCC] All About That Bass. This is still an absolute gem but I am too busy stanning over Lips Are Movin to listen to this that much nowadays. Anyway this did fantastic especially for a song that only managed 4 weeks top 10 [though also 3 weeks at 11 and 2 at 12- Sia teas. And talking off Elastic Heart....]

I do like Elastic Heart but just like it preceddor Chandelier [which was released around 800 years ago], it has got boring very quickly so this is probably Elastic Heart's last week. However it is still a really good song and it definitely deserved to be an official top 10 [especially when racket's such as Ayo can make it]. Sia also manages a softer fall than last week but this should fall short of Chandelier's top 40 weeks [which were about 10 weeks I believe]

So this is the first of [SPOILER ALERT- many big Taylor falls today] many Taylor tracks tonight in the form of amazing somehow only deluxe track Wonderland. The song managed to sneak one week top 10 and has held on very very well since release. This is another amazing Taylor Swift track and I recommend you to listen to it. Also this is the 2nd track in a row to be one place lower in the year to date chart so far [Glory-54, WIDFL-55 and Elastic Heart-19, Wonderland-20]

Released a long long time ago in a far away land was a song I have loved for many years but never knew the name......UNTIL 2015 so this was the reason for Joseph's favourite Lucie Silvas finally charting here with the beautiful What You're Made Of. This week it stabalizes after 2 absolutely horrible and disasterous falls and it should hang around for a couple more weeks as it is such a beautiful track.

The first of 5 new entries today comes from the band who will hit #1 officially with this tomorrow. I am starting to really like King but Sunlight was a lot better [and for some reason I never charted it ]. One of the best parts about King is the production right at the start which is epic and I love the verses. The choruses are good also but it feels like something is missing in the song. Anyway it should hang around for a weeks as I like it more and more on each listen.

The first promotional track from 1989 [and also hopefully future single] slots in at 33 this week spending its 7th consecutive week between 31-40 taking the crown from Breaking Up which drops out this week as the song which has spent the longest in the danger zone. Anyway Out Of The Woods remains amazing And there's no video like the rest of the 1989 tracks

Also making a recovery this week like Lucie Silvas is Fergie Ferg with her L.A. tune L.A. Love featuring YG. The song plummeted pretty quickly but I am falling back in love with it again which reflects in it's climb. Though I really hope their is a Big Girls Don't Cry equivalent to come this era which is one of my favourite songs ever.

And it is I Can Fly's turn to be the lower of the two tracks from the Tim Burton movie Big Eyes that I really wanted to see as it drops 6 places. The Lana track has held incredibly well and peaked at a low #18 but has hung around very well for 9 weeks so far and it is another Lana Del Rey masterpiece. I am so excited for Honeymoon.

Kicking off the top 40 is Lana Del Rey with her last entry today and possibly her last time being top 30 since the first week of April 2014 in the form of the beautiful Big Eyes which has done great here. Ella Henderson continues to fall with Mirror Man with no buzz, no video and most importantly no more Mirror Man member though it should start climbing again when the video is released as it is a great song and was one of my highlights when I first heard the album.

In a very competitive market place at the moment [which also involves the biggest ever sales at #10 which will be revealed more later], Imagine Dragons are suffering badly with their very good lead single I Bet My Life which is good but not good enough to survive the brutality of the competition. Anyway the song passed silver this week and is still a success. Also I am not updated the YTD positions anymore

Cool Kids continues to perform very similar to Budapest as it falls another 4 places to 27th in its 11 week. I love Cool Kids and I am glad it became a minor hit in the end because it is such a great indie track. The song only managed 2 weeks top 10 but spent 7 weeks between 11-15.

As Taylor hasn't posted videos on Youtube, both of these songs can be lumped into the same post as the layout doesn't look as nice. This is the first ever time New Romantics has fallen out of the top 20 and the 2nd time Wildest Dreams has fell out- both times coincidentally to 25th place. I would be happy with both of these being singles as they are both major highlights from 1989 and I don't get how former #1 in my chart New Romantics is only a deluxe track. Wildest Dreams was robbed off #1 by Queen Idina but spent a massive 12 weeks top 10 and is a gigantic 2x platinum big seller. And do you all know something [especially Thermo and Ethan]- if Idina isn't next, she has climbed

And Idina Menzel spends her 67th week in the chart and has still only ever fallen out of the top 25 a mighty time of once as Queen Idina continues to slay by being a non-mover in a very busy market place. Idina spent about 500 weeks top 10 [I am not counting it again] and this is one of my favourite songs ever [If you somehow couldn't tell]. Queen Idina Menzel will continue to slay with this beautiful masterpiece for a very long time AND LET THE STORM RAGE ON

And the first #1 of 2015 is starting to fall fast in the form of 2001 beautiful hit What If by the best movie actress of all time- Kate Winslet. The song spent 8 weeks top 10 but only managed 1 week between 11-20 and this is it's biggest fall yet. However the song has passed the 750k mark and continues to be a gigantic shock success.

Also continuing to fall fast because of the highly competitive and busy marketplace right now is DJ Fresh and Ella Eyre's great collaboration of Gravity which will pass silver next week. I love Ella's vocals and this is DJ Fresh's best work in ages.

I NEVER MISS A BEAT. I'M LIGHTNING ON MY FEET IS OUT OF THE TOP 20 . To be honest the only reason this fell out of the top 20 is that my phone stopped working while I was listening to this song on it so I get my personal chart revenge as it falls a gigantic 7 places and leaves the top 20 after 28 weeks [this will be back on the up next week probably though]. Anyway this remains a masterpiece

I was surprised I had this above JSG last week so it will be interesting to see who has it higher this time. Anyway the Brit effect starts to wear off after Paloma's beautiful performance last week saw her leapfrog back to 12th but I can see this getting 1-2 weeks more at most as as much as I love it, it has spent it's time in the charts for long enough.

And this weeks highest climber goes to the amazing Lucie Silvas with How To Lose It All taken from her self-titled EP [which only me and Joseph and GoodDelta have seemed to listen to]. How To Lose It All is by far the best on the EP and is an amazing catchy track which gets a new peak as well as its first week in the top 20 today.

And JSG will be gutted to hear Paloma has finally left the top 10 [and nearly the top 15] with the stunning Leave While I'm Not Looking as the big amount of competition makes this the first faller out of the top 10 this week. This will probably start falling quite quickly now though I do love it still. It's a shame it never got an official video

I really hope Cheryl makes my top 10 soon as Only Human is such a beautiful song but it is going to be tough because despite big sales [+130k in 4 weeks], the chart is so tough this is the 3rd week it just misses out. Only Human is such a beautiful ballad and I really hope she performs this on Children In Need so it becomes the top 40 hit it deserve to be.

This is performing very similar to Sirens [4-2-6-15] which was released the same week as Charli's 1st big solo hit Boom Clap. Doing It also falls out due to massive competition and I still love this pop gem and it should hold on well as Boom Clap spent ages in my chart despite only spending 3 weeks top 10.

And despite the big chart clearout, Meghan continues to slay with Lips Are Movin and nearly remained top 10. The song ended up spending 6 weeks top 10 which is 1 more than All About That Bass managed and I am sure this becomes a million seller next week in my chart [though not a sales only million seller] and it is such a pop gem and classic

So next weeks top 10 could be Taylorless for the first time since August Style plummets 6 places to 10 this week though it has recorded the highest ever sale in 10th with sales of 71k beating the previous record of 60k by California with Amelia Lily. The song has spent 9 weeks top 10 despite never hitting the top spot and even though I love it, it shouldn't have been a single.

So the first of 4 new entries in the top 10 this week comes from a 2014 song that I knew but never really loved until this week in the form of Shower by Becky G. I did quite like it but after it completely flopped in the UK, I barely ever listening to it but a play on plug dj has made me fall in love with the song though it probably won't hang around long as it is already getting a bit boring. Anyway this was #1 in the Friday midweeks so it had quite a big drop. And with I Really Like You now ineligible which was the Wednesday midweek- this means we have a song at #1 which wasn't #1 in either of the mids.

This has spent 8 weeks so far in the top 5 and is already 2x platinum and by far the biggest seller this year [and the only million seller yet]

So Ellie is back at the top for a fourth week with the amazing Love Me Like You Do which has now spent 5 weeks top 2 and will become a million seller in the next couple of weeks. However it recorded the lowest sales for a #1 single in a very very very very very very long time- possibly even the weakest #1 sales since like May IIRC. Though it still sold a fantastic 98.7k which just pipped Lighthouse to the top spot which sold 98.1k. Anyway Ellie continues to slay with this amazing song and here is my chart for this week.

Are you questioning that it's sold 1m or that she charted it before it hit the official charts? (Or have I misinterpreted the whole thing )

That it sold a million. Because there is no article about it, and even on the BuzzJack thread including streams it isn't listed in the million-sellers (or even in the nearly there (800,000+) section either). So I'm quite skeptical.

Oh well I thought I read sonewhere on here it sold 1m (other than this thread of course )
