Next up we lose a SINGLE Not one that has always ranked highly in her discography so not really a shock, but I assumed it would do a little better than this. It's very inoffensive and quite 'bland' which is probably the reason it's out actually - far from the outlandish Madonna we'd come to expect from this era. Still it's a cute, twee song with a fun message. The song was the third single to be released from the album, but didn't really make a splash on the charts. Quite forgotten among her other singles, but I still enjoy it when I return to it.
Round 4: Turn Up The Radio [02/06; 33.33%]
Round 03: Falling Free [02/05; 40.00%]
Round 02: Superstar [04/10; 40.00%]
Round 01: B-Day Song (ft. M.I.A) [06/07; 85.71%]
I f***ed Up for me (je suis désolé)
Went for 'Some Girls', as for the bonus I need to listen to them again as the only one I know is 'Beautiful Killer' which is pretty ok.
Honestly found 'Turn Up The Radio' a pretty dire choice for a single, I doubt anything else would have made any difference all things considered, it just seemed that she had totally given up by this point.
'Give Me All Your Luvin'' for me now. It can be quite fun at times with elements of the song being quite catchy, regardless of whether you want it to be, but other times (and, indeed, most of the time) it's incredibly faceless and flat in delivery.
Some Girls
Some girls
Some Girls is a riot! Looking at the list I'd be voting it out soon enough anyway so not too fussed I guess ~
Aw, would be a shame to lose 'Some Girls' so early on. A riot is a good way to describe it actually (in a good way obviously) and I feel it's the only other song on a similar wavelength as 'I'm Addicted' (I feel the album needs a couple more of these sort of tracks, replacing the 'happy-clappy' ones). It's like the EDM version of 'She's Not Me'.
Closing this later so get votes in if you haven't already ~
Sad for 'Some Girls'.
