Reports are saying that she's back in the studio with someone called Steve Mac? for album 5.

Looks like they're moving on FAST from Witness.

The record label's 'tough love' talks must have told her she can't spend years away from the music scene baking pies like Nelly Furtado!

Any ideas on how this'll sound?

Unless she is deadset on continue her self-dubbed “woke” sound, then I presume her label is telling her to go back to her old basic pop sound to stay relevant. I wouldn’t mind another Prism-like era, more than another Teenage Dream era anyway

They need to move on fast from witness. The album has been a disaster in terms of sales. Maybe going back to her earlier sound might not be a bad thing if it reignites interest in her but I hope they don’t leave the gap too long!

They won't. The record label had words.

She's back in the studio already!

Wouldn't be surprised if we got a winter/ next summer release

Well, the era lasted about as long as a lot of eras... there is no "moving on FAST" when she served us 4 singles (at least 4 videos - whether HHH was an official single or not, I don't know)

I feel like this next era is the make or break for her. As much as I like CTTR we can't have another one of them. We need another 'Roar' or 'E.T.'/'Dark Horse' more commercially accessible pop and I feel like she can just as easily give us one of those.

I'm excited for when it arrives.

This is definitely the make or break for her, her last chance saloon.

I don't imagine we'll get this for at least another year though anyway.
