ikr altho it is quite nice to have it as a stand alone track i guess! my only hope that when she tours this album she'll still include nightmare in the set as from what I've seen previously it seems like its incredible to witness live

She said in a now deleted tweet that it's not included because it's not the sonic direction she was going in. Consider me back to not being remotely interested in her music then. xx

The full tracklisting hasn't been confirmed yet so Nightmare could still be on there it's just not a grat (and it would fit the run time for Track #2)

she also said it's not an angry album so i can understand why nightmare wouldn't fit in that context, it's not a big deal that its not on tbh and it means we're getting another unheard song so i can't really complain
anyone saying they're not gonna give the album a chance because of it tho 👀 |

how do u know there's not gonna be a song you like just as much as nightmare on the album? dismissing it before you're even giving it a chance is a bit shit tbh it's not even as if it's going to be polarisingly different, it's just a different vibe she's going for from what i can gather.
ive seen halsey getting a lot of shit on twitter for leaving nightmare off the album and it's so unnecessary and undeserved, its not like shes deleting it from her entire discography and pretending it doesn't exist - it's an artistic choice which should be respected really, she'll have good reason for not including it. |

I was exaggerating a bit xx I'll still check out any singles she drops as I know she has the potential to make good songs (I was never likely to listen to a whole album from her regardless, I'm too lazy to listen to albums by artists other than my absolute faves lol) but I was actually really excited about her music for the first time in ages after how much I loved the change of pace on 'Nightmare' and was hoping there'd be more of that sound coming, so seeing her explicitly say that she wasn't continuing that sound was a bit of buzzkill for me personally. By all means she can follow the sound she wants to follow at the moment (and she shouldn't be getting hate for it lol) but it's not gonna be as appealing to me as 'Nightmare' if the sadly rather bland 'Graveyard' is anything to go by x

Sorry to be that guy but the release date in the subtitle should be 2020 not 2019!
I too am sad to see Nightmare didn't make the cut. My favourite from what I've heard from her and I was hoping there would be other songs with a similar edge. |

Possibly one of the most overrated popular artists of the decade from all I’ve heard. A lot of pretentious garbage. She is lovely though.
