I very much doubt he'd have uploaded it if Zayn wasn't on board, and it's great that they're putting his solo material out there already. Apparently Syco have acquired the rights to Zayn's first solo single anyway.

Doesn't seem like a normal 22 year-old's behaviour to me. Although, I do think the "normal 22 year-old" thing was partly rubbish anyway and he'd just had enough of 1D (which I can understand). Naughty Boy's just rubbing salt into the wound for many 1D fans.

nabad Pronouns: he/him Joined: 13 February 2013 Posts: 28,364 User: 18,316	I think what he meant by "normal 22 year-old" was having a healthy lifestyle, being able to spend time with Perrie that he otherwise wouldn't have being part of One Direction, and just all of the baggage that comes with being in the band. I don't believe that one sentence meant he wanted to give up what he loves doing most, which is obviously making music that he wants to with the right people.
