Rudimental ft. James Arthur are on the front page of hot songs, so should be set for a top 20 entry this week, and should definitely go top 10 on iTunes.
'Chinatown' by Liam Gallagher and 'The Line' by RAYE are on the front page of hot songs, though how much they'll do is questionable. If this doesn't get RAYE into the top 50 on iTunes I don't think anything will.
'Location' by Khalid, on the other hand, is already a hit on the other side of the pond, and I can definitely see it becoming a moderate hit if it stays on the hot songs list and picks up a bit of airplay.

I think Feels could chart top 10 this week, it's surely going to have a big climb on Spotify tomorrow. I can see it being the biggest hit from the era anyway, bigger than Slide!

It's cheaper to buy all the album tracks from Calvin's album separately than it is to buy the album (by nine pence lol) so we may well see his album tracks doing quite well in the iTunes chart.

Just listening to the new Rudimental song... it's so... eh. Like, there's nothing to it at all. It's nice (well, it'd be nicer if it was someone with a better voice) but its not even James that's the problem with it. It's literally that there's nothing exciting or interesting in the song at all! :\
Which probably means it'll be a huge top 5 hit and won't leave the top 10 until October or something

I'd be very surprised to see this Rudimental song do anything significant. They're no longer a Chart force, only one top 10 since the massive Waiting All Night & that was entirely due to collaborating with Ed Sheeran.

I really like this Rudimental hit. Not a fan of James but I still like the song a lot. Only took 2-3 full listens to grow on me. Hopefully lands outside the Top 10 this week as I didn't put them in predictions, but certainly has the potential to go Top 10 at some point.

Its sadly just the basic Jonas Blue type watered down tropical dance sound.

She is a Model from the Ukraine and married to a very rich business man. It is said that her biggest wish was to be a famous and successful singer and so her husband does everything to make this wish come true. There are many rumours that her songs get into the itunes chart mostly due to "fake buys" (organized by her husband) because she does not happen on the radio, there is no promotion and her songs don't get much streams. Of course due to very high positions on itunes casual buyers get aware of the tracks and get to buy them.
Some singles and albums of hers have already charted in several countries (especially in my home county Austria

In Germany she was top 10 for a while recently on iTunes with a cover of Sign Your Name by Terence Trent D'Arby.
I saw her supporting Steps in 2012, she was absolutely dreadful but obviously keeps getting bankrolled and the fake buys theory wouldn't surprise me as there appears to be no logical reason for this song and its remix appearing in the top 100.

Also came here to ask about Kamaliya, wondered if it had been played on Love Island or something! Wasn't this big in Holland recently? Or maybe just on iTunes.. it's all a bit baffling because it sounds 10 years out of date and wouldn't have been a hit then either.

The remix, while better than the original imo, is a bit of a disappointment, starts off good (especially in the long version on spotify) but definitely needs louder synths for the chorus, which falls a bit flat. The beat is a bit too loud in the first chorus too and a bit headache inducing.

It takes fewer than 300 daily DLs to be in the T50 of the U.K. iTunes chart. Buying that amount every day for a week (especially if you put your song on discount), isn't that expensive a proposition if you are wealthy.

Yes she was definitely on Scott Mills' radio show a few years ago, she was a sort of recurring meme on that show. Her saying 'I'm very famous in Ukraine' was played quite a bit as a soundbite.

Isn't it odd that the original and remix seem to move pretty much in tandem with each other though? Almost as if people are buying both at the same time...

I agree. This is all from just R2 airplay, A list on R2 is like B list amounts of plays from R1, and it doesn't effect the charts as much. I really hope R1 get on board.
