She really needs to break out this era. I don't think I've actually listened to all her music but songs like 'Wildest Moments', 'Imagine It Was Us', 'Say You Love Me' and 'You & I (Forever)' have really blown me away and she deserves better recognition. 'Say You Love Me', in particular, I thought would have been huge (although it has been one of those songs that tends to receive huge boosts if it's performed on a talent show).

Yes, I can't wait! I also preferred 'Tough Love', there were just so many highs.
I want her to break out but I also want her to stay kinda ~mid-breakout.. Just because I'd love to see her live and in an apollo-style setting. |

Hopefully it is lighter on the clichéd Ed Sheeran ballads (“Say You Love Me”) and heavier on the summer bhangras/Julio Bashmore productions (“110%”), excited for whatever she brings though.

Jessie delivering the goods yet again
The verses are gorgeous (hoping the 'single version' in the title might mean we get an extended intro in the album version?!?) and the shift in sound when the chorus kicks in really works, plus the vocals are to die for as always. I didn't realise we were getting new music so soon so I am now ridiculously excited for an album announcement, I still go back to Tough Love regularly. |
