Fourth single out today from the Rak-Su lads, which they first premiered at their recent free shows in Camden last month: Another solid bop, kind of got a bit of a Wayne Wonder/Kevin Lyttle sort of feel! The fact they're continually being ignored is bordering on the frustrating to be honest. Ah well. Looking forward to seeing them on the Olly Murs tour next month. |

Pyro Ting aside I’ve pretty much enjoyed everything they’ve come out with. They really are underrated and being slept on imo !

This should have been stuck on the EP and they should have used 'Into It' as the single.
Mess. |

Not a great single, they should have promoted Into It as that song had so much potential.

So I saw them live at last supporting Olly Murs at the weekend. They were really good! They also played a brand new song which isn't out yet called 'Rotate (Clockwise)' which has a great little call and response bit in it which got the crowd going.

Their music is so G-rated tho.
Like I'm not surprised they aren't taking off when everything they touch is so squeaky clean esp for the genre they're going for. |

Sure, no criticism of personal tastes.
It's just an odd tack to take if you're trying to make it in a particular genre to make a kidz bop version of it and try and be taken seriously. If you're gonna do a pop version of it, own it, that's just what I think. Pick a lane, like. |

'Into It' really should have got a push. The video is colourful, fun and makes them look very appealing to a wide range of demographics. I'd imagine they could have got a big following with kids, adults and teenagers with their dancing, image and song lyrics but for some reason they didn't bother with it.
I commented on one of Jamal's posts on Instagram telling him to please get the song on Spotify playlists and he said "fingers crossed" so they must be as gutted as the fans are that nothing is taking off. Hopefully they keep trying and get a surprise hit at some point. |
