Liam Plunkett for England has set a World Cup record today for the longest gap between appearances for the same team. It is 12 years 39 days since he played in the 2007 World Cup.

Three quick wickets for England there, South Africa 167-5 now. Could do with getting van der Dussen out soon though.

They could do, especially with van der Dussen being 50 not out at the moment. Listening on 5 Live to this.

Just seen that catch from Ben Stokes for the seventh South Africa wicket. What a catch that was.

A very comfortable win for England. They should make the semi-finals easily.

England will need 349 to win against Pakistan which would be the highest run-chase in World Cup history.

And rain has delayed the match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. Afghanistan had reduced Sri Lanka to 180-8 before the rain came.

South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn has been ruled out of the remainder of the World Cup by a shoulder injury.

He missed the Proteas' first two games because of the long-standing issue and has suffered a new complication.

Steyn will be replaced in the squad by left-arm paceman Beuran Hendricks.

South Africa, who have lost both of their games so far, play India on Wednesday in Southampton and are already without fellow fast bowler Lungi Ngidi who has a hamstring injury.
