I thought I'd have another go at working out a rough list of the best selling girl group singles in the UK. I say "rough" because it's impossible for it to be anywhere near 100% accurate, due to the lack of information available in some cases. Some of the sales figures are many years old too.

The following list represents:

- girl groups who have had at least two Top 10 hits within the last 20 years.
- of those girl groups, just their Top 40 hits.

I may go beyond those constraints at some point!

I tried my best to pack in as much information as possible into each line, but make it readable. The dates on the end of each line (for instance, 2013/06 after 'Wannabe') represents the year & month that the sales figure was revealed in. If I've not written anything after the date, in most cases that means the sales figure is an official one, revealed by the OCC, Music Week or via a count down on a music channel.
