Those numbers are pathetic... In Finland #1 song gets 103k atm that would've been approx #30 in the UK which is huge market in comparison.

Just thinking ahead... Christmas is going to be big on Spotify as usual... but how's Christmas going to fare with ACR? I thought I saw someone mention that it will be hit by ACR for some reason. Weren't the Linkin Park songs also hit unnecessarily?

If someone could tell me how ACR will affect Christmas songs chart performance then that would be great!

Surely it shouldn't be that hard for the songs to take off, I thought if they doubled their sales then ACR no longer applied to them?

It would only apply to their first week of having an increase of over 50% (against market rate).

This could easily happen as early as October or November really as they are going to be going from 0 sales to hundreds to thousands and that is quite easily enough of an increase.
