These are the entries by British or Irish boybands in the recently published top 100 boyband songs as compiled by US Billboard music critics. Davy Jones from The Monkees was British so I'm including them on the Brit side also.

92. Beat Again - JLS
91. Theme From The Monkees - The Monkees
89. Caught in the Middle - A1
88. What I Go To School For - Busted
86. I Found You - The Wanted
85. You Made Me Believe in Magic - Bay City Rollers
76. The Harder I Try - Brother Beyond
71. Never Forget - Take That
69. Swear It Again - Westlife
65. Story of My Life - One Direction
64. 5 Colours in Her Hair - McFly
61. Stay Another Day - East 17
60. Pass The Dutchie - Musical Youth
48. When the Lights Go Out - Five
42. Steal My Girl - One Direction
35. Glad You Came - The Wanted
22. She Loves You - The Beatles
21. I'm a Believer - The Monkees
17. Saturday Night - Bay City Rollers
11. Back For Good - Take That
9. Back Here - BBMak
7. Daydream Believer - The Monkees
4. What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction
3. I Want To Hold Your Hand - The Beatles

Number one surprise surprise is I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys as per usual with American publications and this song. What baffles me is not only is it nonsense in it's lyrics but the song only peaked at #6 in the US so why the constant hype and status? Back For Good was a bigger global hit than I Want It That Way as well.

It's a catchy but silly song I'll admit that I just can't understand why it's so hyped in America. Are the writers of these lists on the Backstreet payroll or something?!
