Looking forward to my first contest, good chance to hear a lot of new music! I've gone for an old favourite song of mine, bit cheesy but I don't care. I didn't think it was that obscure but I've had to upload the blumming thing onto Soundcloud myself

After an absence of 24 games I have decided to compete again in the next contest, hopefully may be able to do a smidge better, also is it possible to change one's flag, the one I have is a bit meh.

QUINTESSA RETURNS AFTER TWO-YEAR ABSENSE WITH PIA MIA Quintessa has decided to the contest after an embarrasing number of DNQs. "After a number of years, we've decided that despite our minimum chance of qualification, it's the taking part that counts" says the head of the Quintessa BJSC comitee, Graziella de Scavio, "whilst in previous contests we've gone for more established acts, this year we've elected the up-and-coming Pia Mia of Guam." "Having heard briefly the round we've drawn, it's an impressive group, and there wouldn't be any shame in another Quintessa DNQ" Only time will tell if Quintessa can qualify for their very first BJSC final. |

CHANGES AT THE TOP FOR QUINTESSA BJSC COMMITTEE Former head of Quintessa BJSC Committee, Graziella de Scavio has resigned and has been replaced by Anacleto Mosso. After several attempts Quintessa have never made it to the final of a Buzzjack Song Contest, de Scavio decided to bring the country back to contest only to place second to last in the semis, finally having enough Graziella decided to resign and could be heard roaring off in her Porsche swearing something in Italian on her exit. Anecleto Mosso stepped in at last moment for the Foreign Language contest and has now been promoted. "Although, I've enjoyed Graziella's entries I feel it's time Quintessa tried some different genres in their approach, I am very enthused about this contest's entry, Natural Animal a promising electronic/indie act from Canada." We will shortly find out if Mosso can lead the country to it's first qualification. |

Just hearing your song and I REALLY like it, a little confused at the terrible predictions! If there is any justice this will surely be your first qualifier???
The spoken samples are a really nice touch. |

QUINTESSA LEGITIMATELY QUALIFY WITH SNOWSHIP The country is in shock as Benjamin Francis Leftwich "dark horses" his way to Quintessa's first qualifier. Despite Anecleto Mosso's inaugural entry with Natural Animal's "Who You Are" storming to 21st, his later attempts to capitalise went unnoticed during the next three contests. However, Quintessa has picked up their first Q with the folksy-chillouty-electronic Snowship remixed by Thomas Jack. The streets of Copperelli are flooded with drunken revellers tonight, as they prepare for their first final of 30. This post has been edited by Leonardo: 15th September 2014, 08:34 PM |

QUINTESSA ENTER FLOAT FALL Quintessa hope to get their second qualifier with "Someday". After initially stalling in the semis, "Rabbit Holes" managed to do a Quintessa first and finish in the top 10 in a (sort of) BJSC, hoping to capitalise on this Anecleto has decided to enter a more laid back beautiful song from Belgian band Float Fall |

QUINTESSA'S NEW HOPE Quintessa hope to get their second qualifier this year with "Strong Hearts" by Priest.. After three consecutive DNQ's after what looked like a promising start to 2015, Quintessites are starting to lose faith in their place in the competition, A nervous Anecleto Mosso, current head of the Quintessa BJSC committee, has decided to go the more traditional Quintessa route again with an electro-indie sound. |
