I don't love this Lauv/Troye collab and it's old and boring saying it doesn't compare to "Blue Neighbourhood" now (even though it's true). It's a catchy little pop song and I hope it outpeaks "1999" (hated that) and gives him a top 10 hit finally.

P!nk Walk Me Home 1st single from Hurts 2B Human Released: 20th January 2019 Label: RCA Records The pop supernova's first single from new album Hurts 2B Human. - iTunes Chart Statistics NE (07/03/2019) | 8-9-12 Sales: 50k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 01 Sales 26 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video Biography Alecia Beth Moore (born September 8, 1979), known professionally as Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. Originally a member of the girl group Choice in 1995, LaFace Records saw potential in Pink and offered her a solo recording contract. Her R&B-influenced debut studio album Can't Take Me Home (2000) was certified double-platinum in the United States and spawned two Billboard Hot 100 top-ten songs: "There You Go" and "Most Girls". She gained further recognition with the collaborative single "Lady Marmalade" from the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack, which topped many charts worldwide. Refocusing her sound to pop rock with her second studio album Missundaztood (2001), the album sold more than 12 million copies worldwide and yielded the international number-one hits "Get the Party Started", "Don't Let Me Get Me", and "Just Like a Pill". While Pink's third studio album, Try This (2003), sold fewer copies than her previous work, it earned her the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. She returned to the top of record charts with her fourth and fifth studio albums, I'm Not Dead (2006) and Funhouse (2008), which generated the top-ten singles "Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand" as well as the number-one hit "So What". Pink's sixth studio album, The Truth About Love (2012), was her first album to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart and spawned her fourth number-one single, "Just Give Me a Reason". In 2014, Pink recorded a collaborative album, Rose Ave., with Canadian musician Dallas Green under a folk music duo named You+Me. Her seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma (2017), became the third best-selling album of the year and saw the success of its lead single, "What About Us". Recognized for her distinctive, raspy voice and acrobatic stage presence, Pink has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the world's best-selling music artists. Her career accolades include three Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, a Daytime Emmy Award and seven MTV Video Music Awards, including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. In 2009, Billboard named Pink the Pop Songs Artist of the Decade. Pink was also the second most-played female solo artist in the United Kingdom, during the 2000s decade, behind Madonna. VH1 ranked her number 10 on their list of the 100 Greatest Women in Music, while Billboard awarded her the Woman of the Year award in 2013. At the 63rd annual BMI Pop Awards, she received the BMI President's Award for "her outstanding achievement in songwriting and global impact on pop culture and the entertainment industry." - Wikipedia _______________________________________________________________ Top 100 Chart History 2000 06 There You Go -1- 2000 05 Most Girls -2- 2001 09 You Make Me Sick -3- 2001 01 Lady Marmalade (Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mưa & P!nk) -OST- 2002 02 Get The Party Started -1- 2002 06 Don't Let Me Get Me -2- 2002 01 Just Like A Pill -3- 2002 11 Family Portrait -4- 2003 03 Feel Good Time (feat. Dave featuring Burna Boy Location Album track from PSYCHODRAMA Released: 8th March 2019 Label: Dave / Neighbourhood Recordings Chart Statistics NE (21/03/2019) | 11 Sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio TBA Sales TBA Audio Streaming TBA Video Streaming Video Biography Streatham, South London-born grime artist Dave (aka Santan Dave) may only have been 16 when he entered the grime spotlight, but his conscious lyrical style made him sound well beyond his years. Growing up, Dave was inspired to pursue art in some form. Taking cues from his older brothers, he initially tried his hand at animation before moving on to piano before finally settling on becoming a fully-fledged grime MC; unfortunately, his brothers would end up serving lengthy prison sentences. To cope with the drastic alteration to their lives, Dave burrowed even deeper into his music, causing him to develop a socially aware form of wordplay that set him apart from his peers. Despite starting to write bars around the age of ten, it was six years later that Dave would make his first appearance, freestyling on an underground grime channel, Bl@ckbox, in 2015. In January of the following year Dave returned with his first music video/single "JKYL+HYD," cementing his reputation for deep subject matter and ambitious lyrics. In the following months, Dave delivered two key freestyles on BBC Radio 1. The first was on Semtex's 1Xtra show and the second on Charlie Sloth's Fire in the Booth. A number of singles followed, including a standout collaboration with West London's own rising star, AJ Tracey, on "Thiago Silva." By September Dave was ready to drop his first EP, Six Paths. The release was a success in its own right, but gained even more attention when Canadian rapper Drake remixed the single "Wanna Know," bringing Dave's sound to an American audience. - iTunes _______________________________________________________________ Top 100 Chart History Dave 2017 51 Wanna Know (feat. I like this Dave track (and the album). He really stands out from other British rappers. His music is actually good for one...
Been listening to all the top 3 albums this week a few times each. Depends on my mood as to which I prefer. |

Tom Walker Just You And I 3rd single from What A Time To Be Alive Released: 7th April 2017 (original release) and 11th January 2019 (re-release) Label: Relentless Records Chart Statistics NE (24/01/2019) | 97-96-85-69-30-19-10-8-10 Sales: 200k+ Certification: Silver Status: Standard Chart Ratio 05 Sales 11 Audio Streaming 83 Video Streaming Video Biography Multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Tom Walker blends hip-hop-inspired beats, eclectic samples, and traditional songwriting in his music. Born in Scotland and raised in Manchester, England, Walker grew up listening to Ray Charles, the Police, and Bob Marley from his father's record collection, and taught himself how to play drums, guitar, piano, and bass. After studying songwriting at London's College of Contemporary Music, Walker began making music in earnest, collaborating with his housemates -- who included members of Whilk & Misky -- in their home studio. One of his songs, 2016's "Sun Goes Down," interpolated the '30s work song "I'll Be So Glad When the Sun Goes Down" and featured poet/musician Kojey Radical. The track earned acclaim and airplay on Radio 1, and Walker signed to Relentless soon after. His official debut single, "Fly Away with Me," arrived later that year. The Blessings EP was released in April 2017, along with a pair of singles, "Heartland" and "Leave a Light On." Walker started working with producer Mike Spencer on his debut album soon after, putting together 12 tracks of impeccably produced soulful, contemporary pop. Preceded by the singles "My Way" and "Angels," the album What a Time to Be Alive -- which took its title from the track "Blessings" -- was issued in late 2018. - iTunes _______________________________________________________________ Top 100 Chart History 2018 07 Leave A Light On -1- 2018 80 Walk Alone (Rudimental feat. Can't believe Dave has a #1 album and getting hit singles.
Shame 'Samantha' was released before he got so popular. THAT was a great song. |
