18th. Rihanna 19th. Paramore 20th. Ariana Grande 21st. One Direction 22nd. RuPaul 23rd. K-Pop 24th. Robbie Williams & Take That The losing entries: A very, very interesting triple elimination round. We say goodbye to Paramore & Ariana, whilst, although beating them by 3 Votes in the main round, Rihanna loses out to Calvin in the closest play-off yet!  Mods of these forums, please feel free to use this thread to discuss what song choices you would have planned on sending for future rounds!Round 4 will be starting tomorrow and once again will last two days with a one day playoff round. A lot of the Anti album passed me by at the time but this really struck me. Stunning vocal performance, reminds me of Amy Winehouse in parts, and she smashes it out of the park when performed live. This really should have been a big hit for her here, although I do think it's more well known than its lack of chart success would suggest.

Mess seeing Ariana and Rihanna go, I thought they'd both make top 5! But it opens up the comp a bit more and makes it very exciting

As I said before, I really wish I'd joined the Ariana mod team before this had started! But ah well, what can you do. At least 'no tears left to cry' got its moment to shine.
Crazy that Rihanna went from top 2 to being out... no-one is safe! |

Rihanna could have sent a top 10 single to every round & still had plenty left in the tank. An admirable choice to send a less well-known track of hers but sadly the format of this contest is unforgiving.

I noticed that the play-off ended up so close that 1 or 2 people not knowing 'Love On The Brain' and not listening to it could've made the difference, which feels discouraging towards sending non-big hits in the future unfortunately.
Congrats to Billie and Zara for beating Rihanna and Ariana with much smaller discographies! |

Round One: Focus (UNDERRATED AS f***) Round Two: Love Me Harder Round Three: Dangerous Women Round Four: Side To Side Round Five: Bang Bang Then there's so much more. Rihanna's mods should have sent 'Unfaithful' over 'Love On The Brain' tho. |

I briefly mentioned this in the Ariana AF but by that third round if it was up to me then I think it would've been 'Breathin' for us!
