I reckon Niall's next era will do very well for him as well as Harry's.

I'd say Harry, Niall and Liam are all still in the realm of casual interest beyond the fanbase right now. Fanbase total of day 1 is only important for the first week but it's worth nothing that only two out of Liam's six singles have peaked in week 1 (the first two - Strip That Down and Get Low). The rest all climbed, peaking much later - week 3 for Bedroom Floor, week 6 for For You, week 8 for Familiar and week 7 for Polaroid! This is Liam's first release since Polaroid, too.

18. Post Malone - Circles

Since this is becoming a legitimate hit, does that mean Post Malone will throw himself 100% into the new direction with his next album? laugh.gif

But as everything related to 1D is "fanbase only" these days (well apart from Harry Styles perhaps if he decides to release something), that one day makes a big difference for 1st full week total.

If the first day is making such a big difference then it's a song that is doing nothing in the chart anyway (like TOOL's lead single for example). At absolute most it's the difference between missing the top 100 entirely or spending one week at like #85, or between just missing the top 40 and plummeting or just making the top 40 and plummeting. It's really not important at all.

He's had a mix of genres on all of his albums (and he has had other hits that weren't hip-hop at all before, see 'I Fall Apart' and 'Sunflower') so probably not xx Also as of yet this hasn't been a bigger hit for him than 'Wow.' and 'Goodbyes'.

Had no idea 'Good As Hell' was that high. Like... what the hell?

It's been getting airplay from some big stations. Clara Amfo has been playing it daily on BBC Radio 1. Hoping it'll manage to get playlisted as it seems to be getting pushed in the US now.
