Welcome to my countdown of my favourite 50 entries in BJSC of this year! I haven't even came up with a top 50 list yet but below are some of the country flags that may or may not have appeared in the top 50. I will also be ranking my own entries but they will not count as part of the top 50, if you know what I mean.

Top 50 will be revealed soonish in the week. And yes, I'm also doing a countdown of my most successful chart runs in my personal charts at the end of this month too, so you can check out my BJSC faves while you wait!

I think I remember Dope being a dope entry. Perhaps it will chart here. I literally have no idea at the moment

Also if it wasn't clear, DNQ'd entries will also be eligible for the top 50. I will be doing "shoutouts" to some of the good tracks in spinoffs/melodo also

Commiserablations

Comm's deny Tinnmark, Land of DQ, Jadekissnia and Flynnonda a top 75 appearance. It also means Danaelanda is one short of getting all 9 entries (that I've heard this year) into the top 75 as Boss just misses out!

#51-75

25 songs miss the top 50, but they are all pretty good despite the miss. Even one of my BJSC entries from Snakehips ends up here as my personal least favourite of my entries so far. It was my second entry ever and I was not prepared with an entry so I rushed into my iTunes library for songs flopping in the chart

Beaverdonia only just misses out the top 50 with his Triangledonian one hit wonder War Paint (the one which got deducted because his coffee shop was shut or something) and had he sent the Young Bombs remix, it would likely have got perhaps 15 or 18 points and ended up around #10!

(by the way, these aren't calcuated by a point system but by how much I like them as of listening to them today)

Somehow trashy pop why-on-earth-do-I-even-like-this snabs the top 50 ledge. This is Hushkanukia's only feature also.

Danaelanda - Christina Novelli - Same Stars



Poor Danaelanda flops much to his surprise as Same Stars became his first and only DNQ of the year to my knowledge. Previously sent by Jamvale/Mulgracia who sent Magnetic Lights by Lema featuring the former, it also DNQd. It's a fab song but there's more choonable entries coming up from the local modifier dan.ce *.*

Seyetana - I See Stars - The Hardest Mistakes (feat. Cassadee Pope) [Electric Forest Remix]



Seyetana's only appearance is seeing stars at #48. It could be that Iz' global modifying powers have extended to the ranking of these entries, but regardless it is still a fab remix and I'm hoping there'll be more like this next year

#longhairdontcare is getting dat Radio 1 play featuring Conrad Sewell who provided vocals to the amazing Firestone earlier this year it's very different from it both in general and Conrad's vocals. It got a lot of calling out as 'cheap' but who cares tbh, it's still a great track

Here is one of the many conflicting pottashes me and Cor Lupus seem to have, amongst songs such as Spotlight and Rush. It's surprisingly his only appearance here. It did well much to my dismay but I was happy for it to do so nonetheless as it's a fun track and the video is cute

If you heard a rumor that Pep & Rash were going to be #1 here I can unfortunately tell you that they are in fact not true this is the first track from Dan that I've heard in BJSC. It's also a shame I didn't grow on it more until its UK release, as it became top 20 hit in the UK charts and the only UK hit from Dan's entries this year.

Everyone thought poor Dobago would finish last in the final with this but it did not was glad to give this 18 when Dobago gave our near qualifier Nungwi their 18 2 months ago this is sounding great!

About a minute of calm, relaxing vocals from this guy until a fully pumped drop, it's the perfect formula for a successful entry and successful it was, giving Danaelanda a #3 placing officially and becoming the highest entry by him this year! Aquafina's second winning entry of 2 after Easy Love won the previously following contest. I thought it was just ok at the time until I listened to it again today and it's rather good. I can't say AF was losing out on any points though 3 remain by this country.

Another "generic" dance track from Mully it builds up to a rather spectacular chorus and I thought it sounded like a flop-to-come but it did ok in the end which 2 of Mulgracia's entries made it higher up?

I think you mean Feeling Good here Glad to see the Illuminati approves anyway, seems quite underrated in terms of my entries this year and it's a great use of a sample and indeed a wonderful chilled listen

It's the first ever track I've heard from him as it was uploaded under the title "Avicii vs Nicki Romero - RaveWave" which I eventually found out was a fake. It is a great song but because of BJSC I decided to check more out of him and found so many great tracks so thank you Buzzjack!

Possibly the least deserving flop qualifier here. Its super tranquility from Kamil Pantowski and LarsM as Diviners which I heard after subscribing to NCS (which I did after hearing a couple of LarsM songs on there). I didn't know it was Lars until after I sent it which was an added bonus. Deffo a HUGGGEEE hit in my PC too. Danaelanda knows where it's at as he spent his 18 on it and it managed to reach #6 on his chart too! *.*

If you've been keeping up with the countries post you'll realise that this country was the winner! While I am not a brony by any definition, this song it simply amazing amazing so good and gives me Avicii teas and audiblegasms every listen I discovered it a few years ago on a user submitted flash website z0r.de where one loop played an MLP clip with this song in the background and I found it and it's become my favourite top 5 of all time! Was sad that it wasn't even top 10 in the final though

Wow there's some honest to god Trifoski representation in here I'm glad you enjoyed Major Happy, it was my attempt to bring uplifting, inspiring music to bjsc. Of course it turns out most of those rather ungrateful voters didn't deserve it, but it's people like YOU who deserve it <3

Great #1 too, as a brony myself (would you ever guess?) I do have a bit of a connection with the original Love Is In Bloom as a song from one of the season finales
