We need to have something underneath because it is the forum description when you go to view all artists. It could be something simple like 'mr Robbie Williams... need I say more?'

Cameron , is there a maximum number of letters/characters that can be used for the description, some of our suggestions are quite long unsure.gif

I was wondering how things were Biggy. Glad things are getting back to normal.

Great news Tess, hope she now makes a full recovery from the cold.

That dog is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I just done a quick check, we can have roughly a line and a half (I think) of standard Buzzjack typing text

How often is there a year where the hurricane's are as bad as this year?

This seems to be one of those years, like back in 2005, where we were wondering just how many hurricanes there were going to be....seem to recall back in that year, there were something like 28 or 29 tropical systems, and the ones past zed were being called Alpha, Beta and the like...this kind of weather is just batty....I seem to also recall hearing at one point, that on average, about every 10-12 years or so, it's extremely busy for tropical systems, whether they be tropical storms or hurricanes....and this is one of those busy years...of course, this post is just off the top of me head, and I could have some of me facts jumbled...

So there is a lot more to come then Mr B , we sometimes get the tail-end of them over here so keeping fingers crossed they will stay away. Last winter we had very little wind so hoping we do not get a battering this year unsure.gif

In 1985 I believe that there were 10,000 people killed in Mexico due to an earthquake ....

Is it global warming or is it just the patterns of nature?

Will any of it make Trump change his mind about climate change do you think?

The hurricane season normally runs in the Northern Atlantic from June 1st to November 30th. According to what I have looked up, we are currently in the peak period of the hurricane season. It seems to be rather odd that a few hurricanes have followed a similar path so soon after one another.

Here's why hurricane season has been exceptionally disastrous — and why there’s probably more to come unsure.gif

It's cyclical with the hurricanes, and how busy it may or may not be....back in 1992, the first storm of the season wasn't until the middle of August with Andrew, and there were, I think, maybe 5-6 more tropical storms after Andrew....then again, I may well be wrong in some of my facts, as I've not looked up what was going on for 1992, other than Andrew hitting, and the mess it caused round Miami...

Just how busy a hurricane season may or may not be is also dependent upon how strong El Nino and La Nina are coming in from the Pacific, going through the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea and into the Atlantic... a strong El Nino current will stifle the hurricane-creating engines in the Atlantic and whatnot with all kinds of wind shear blowing the tops off any growing tropical storms, and conversely, a strong La Nina will add fuel to a tropical system, so to speak...

I was searching through ITunes tonight for Michael Macdonald.

Re-discovered this BEAUTIFUL song from 1982. I had this album. Love his voice, the lyrics and the strings.

Found again and added to my Ipod safe and sound after 35 years. wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

This is Sweet Freedom one of his big hits. I love his voice. He was one of my favourites in the 1980s.
