Haha have Brighton never been top before even in the 70s/80s when Jimmy Case was flying into tackles for yous?

Jimmy Case is one of the best I saw play for Brighton. However, even he couldn't get to the top of the league.

Good win for Arsenal, it's amazing how quickly the doom and gloom can change. Still think Arsenal aren't very good though, Spurs were dreadful and there for the taking on the counter loads of times. Crazy how far these two have fallen behind the rest of the Top 6.

Spurs were awful in the first half hour, no aggression, no passion no midfield, literally pumping balls upfront from Dier and Sanchez!

They've got a bang average side, with their stars being Son and Kane. I know this is going to come up time and time again, but not selling Kane in the summer is honestly a colossal screw up from Levy. I will never know why they didn't sell at £150m and re-invest in the team. It's hardly like City and Spurs are title rivals these days either. Levy's ego got the better of him when he would have been way better selling and re-investing.

After 3 games Spurs were top of the league and Arsenal were bottom. 3 games later and Arsenal are now above Spurs in the table.

The hyperbole is absolutely crazy. There's an article now on BBC Sport about how Arteta could become the next Wenger laugh.gif 3 games ago, he was close to the sack. Think all Arsenal fans would say their first XI is pretty decent, but an injury or two and they are mid-table at best (as shown by the early season results). This season already we've already had Chelsea and Man Utd as title winners for example! Singular games in isolation are so hard to bring judgement in to, as teams can just have off days, some teams can raise there game massively or just change up their tactics- classic example in the Brentford vs Liverpool game at the weekend.

Calling anything this early into the season is utter lunacy. Look at City last season, midtable at Christmas then won the league at a canter. Football in general suffers from knee-jerk, social media-fuelled overreactions to any single result these days.

Arsenal always turn up to the home games against Spurs, look at their results the past few years. Let's see if they can keep it up for a long run of fixtures. They have good players but there's also have a tendency to their heads to drop when something doesn't go their way in a game.

Yeah it's true, Arsenal always beat Tottenham at home. It was obvious that it was going to happen again yesterday and you just know that Tottenham will beat Arsenal in the reverse fixture later in the season. None of those teams seem to be able to win a north London derby away from home. Sometimes it feels like winning the North London derby or finishing above the other team is more important than trying to build consistency overall. I still remember Arsenal fans on AFTV celebrating wildly when they pipped Tottenham to 2nd place on the last day of the 2015/16 season.

Wolves defender Yerson Mosquera has been ruled out for up to five months after sustaining a hamstring injury.

The 20-year-old, who will have surgery this week, was injured in last week's EFL Cup loss to Tottenham just minutes into his competitive debut for Wolves.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka will be out of action for three months due to a knee injury sustained in Sunday's victory against Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal said the Switzerland captain, 29, has a "significant injury" to his medial knee ligament.

Xhaka was replaced after 82 minutes in the 3-1 win at Emirates Stadium.

An Arsenal statement said: "A specialist consultation took place on Tuesday evening which has determined that Granit does not require surgery."
